    Accept mistakes :

One must be courageous enough to admit his mistakes , smart enough to profit from them and strong enough to correct them.. Another quality that complements accepting mistakes is that of forgiving one who has committed the mistake .. Not doing that, is a bigger mistake !! One must be soft hearted to be able to do that..   Well , I would say, after watching such a beautifully made mms video which carries so much warmth in its pictures , even a hard diamond would convert into a soft lump of graphite!!

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji. We seek refuge in you Appaji kindly accept our apologies for all our mistakes and kindly convey to Lord Almighty. Please shower us Jnana so we be observant and make fewer mistakes and kindly grant us the self-image to be able to accept them and be able to offer our apologies instantaneously. Sri Guru Datta.

Who more than Ganapathi the lord of Vigna nashaka, to help me know, analyze and learn from my mistakes. Wonderful POST-IT message for parents like me. Thank you very much Appaji.

Jai Guru Datta, Appaji. Accepting them is actually easier, simpler and “lighter” on us, than trying to use 10 other lies to cover the mistakes, and then LOSE PEACE as we need to constantly guard ourselves from getting exposed over these new lies, in addition. I guess, human being has a knack to complicate things for himself/herself, and further get entangled in this myre of maya and karma. With your strength, may we develop all these good qualities, to pull ourselves out of this mess. Sri Guru Datta.

The day before you posted this, Swamiji, I had said something I regretted. I couldn’t take back the words, but was thinking about how when we say something–good or bad—it creates a stream of events. Sometimes you can just see those events playing out before and you can’t call back those words….so you have to live with the consequences and hope that you do better the next time….I was thinking about this when I read your message…ouch….sometimes our mistakes hurt a bit…especially when we know you see them….I like that you posted on so many days on Puttugam to remember that someone is always watching you….Jaya Guru Datta!

Jaya Guru Hanuman, This reminds me of Kartaveerya arjuna and what Swamiji said about him……….Kartaveerya arjuna committed mistake but did not ask to be pardoned…..He asked punishment for his mistakes and training not to do mistakes again…….So the first step is to acknowledge the mistake, accept the punishment and request guru for training so that we do not commit the mistake again…….Let us all pray to Sri Swamiji to punish us for our mistakes committed either knowingly or unknowingly and then train us…….Om namo hanumate namaha

how often do we learn by our mistakes ! but of course, this is only possible if we recognise and admit them. our brain is designed to learn by experience and the free will includes right and wrong decisions. it is not possible to go through life without making mistakes and acknowledging mistakes means (as sri daya mata, the president of paramahamsa yoganandas self-realization fellowship until 2010 said to someone) joining the rest of humankind … Sri Swamijis loving advise makes it easy. OM SRI MATA

Mein geliebter SADGURU, danke für diese Lehre. Sie hilft mir, mich mit meinen Fehlern auseinander zu setzen, sie nicht andern zuzuschieben.

Absolutely true, accepting mistakes need self analysis and being practical i.e. not presuming that ‘i’m always correct or i don’t commit any mistake even unknowingly. To correct our mistakes first we need to accept our mistakes. It’s better if we understand ‘to err is human’ and take a chance in correcting ourselves because no person is perfect. Correcting mistakes take lesser time than defending ourselves. May lord bless us all in giving us the mind set to accept and correct our mistakes to be a better humans in the process of reaching God.
