  1. The divine bird Jatayu, fought Ravana when he abducted Sita to Lanka. In the mid-air battle, aged Jatayu lost his wings to Ravana’s sword. Jatayu knew his end was near, but held on till he met Rama & appraised him of Ravana’s southward flight with Sita.
Rama reached just as Jatayu was dying, and was so grateful to know about Sita. As a mark of gratitude for help received, Rama performed the last rites of Jatayu thereby ensuring moksha for the divine bird.
    Dear Appaji,
You’re our Rama, on a mission to embed dharmic principles in our minds.
We know how fondly you remember all those who’ve contributed to your mission over the past decades. Every face, every action, you remember with gratitude.. however small the seva may have been. We’ll follow your example.
Please bless us with the good fortune of serving your cause. We’d be privileged, because.. whatever we offer is only a small fraction of what we received from your grace. Jaya Guru Datta. Your Puttuji

Jaya Guru Datta! You have blessed me with so many truly good people in my life over the years. I have been rich in this regard. My deepest pranams for those trustworthy souls you have given me as real friends. Please bless those who have been less than honest or deceitful or who have worked to harm me or hold me back with more loving true hearts and help me see them with caring eyes. You are the greatest hero in my life!

To receive help is wonderful, but only, when it comes from the heart from the other person. That gives a deep relation. It is wonderful, when we all can help one at the other. Then deep relations are between all of us. Like this we don’t have wars!

Jgd.The MMS has beautiful Ramayana message.Good souls never forgets the Help they recieved. How Sampathi is the first Hero in the fight against Ravana. He spots Ravana abducting Sita Mata.He raises to the sky and fights a valiant war with Ravana and due course succumbs to the injurires.Sri Rama is unconsolable in his greif when finds the body of Sampathi. He hugs the body as His own fathers body as he missed the last rites of father Dasaratha.Just because the fight withh Ravana.

    Jaya Guru Datta
Sri Swamiji gives us so much. Sometimes i think He just waits for a little bit from our side so that He has a reason to give back with full hands.
I am so happy to write Jaya Sri Rama.

JGD. I thank Appaji for giving true meaning to my life. Sri Swamiji once said in Trinidad, “You do my job, and I will look after yours”. Since I have been involved at the holy Aripo Datta Ganga, I have been elevated in my job, and members of my family have advanced in their careers. The greatest thanks, however, go my beloved Sadguru for giving us the opportunity to serve Him.

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji. yet another anecdotal recalling from the Life History of Appaji. There are so many evidences that we come across everyday from Sri Swamiji’s divine guidance related to this principle. Thank You Appaji.

Thanks for reminding us oh Dear Sadguru. May Appaji bless us to always remember to be grateful to those who helped us because it is our very own Sadguru helping us in different ways. Jai Veera Hanuman!

Jaya Guru Datta! Even when our seva is so little and can never reach the level of Your work for us, still You remember each single seva action of ours with gratitude, even after a long time? This shows how much You love us! Unconditional, eternal, divine love. There are no words for this. We are truly very very blessed to be with You. Sri Guru Datta

What could be worse than ingratitude? We are helped by others and most of all by our Sadgurdeva. May we never forget and always be thankful. Om namo Hanumate namaha. Jaya Guru Datta.

  5. Jaya Guru Datta. When I was a very young girl, my parents sent me and my older sister, who was quite young herself, alone on an airplane ride from New Jersey to San Francisco. There was a stop over and we somehow got bumped off of the connecting flight. We were alone and scared in some unknown airport when a stranger came to our rescue. I do not know if that beautiful woman was Jayalakshmi Mata or just a kind stranger. But I have never forgotten and though I cannot thank that woman I have always remembered and tried to help others in need. My childhood was very traumatic so someone being kind and watching out for us was an unusual and unexpected event. I never forgot and always remember those dark and loving eyes. Sri Guru Datta.

When we see today’s MMS, we can imagine the kindness of our Appaji also. This is because we see in this kaiyuga , our Sadguru Himself as Rama for us. The photography and the Bhajan on Lord Rama are very, very nice for this MSG. Here the Bird Jatayu was fighting with Ravana to rescue Sita mata with in His capacity and but could not. Here Jatayu was following the dharmic truth which is subtle and sensitive, MMS 102 and waiting for Rama to convey the information about Sita. Finally as a mark of gratitude inturn Rama performed the last rites to Jatayu . From this we can realize, how Rama was kind enough in all respects. Similarly our Appaji is also so kind enough in everything. In this connection to my experience , He never forget what ever we have done in the past for His mission and the blessings , which He has given to us is beyond any explanation. That is why Appaji always used to say that , you do your duty and don’t wait for the result since you will get the same in it’s own way. From this we must learn that muchofconfidence, we have to develop in our life. More over I even remember Appaji’s words saying that you should try to get your name registered in His Heart for which we have to do our seva to His mission with in our capacity in all respects. Thank you Appaji for reminding us and we continue to do our seva for the development of your mission in the best possible manner. JGD.

Jai Guru Datta Appaji !! Vandanam Saccidananda Sadguru Vandanam !!

The feeling of gratitude reveals a person’s character or the lack thereof when no gratitude is felt. It reflects upon how the person has been groomed and what kind of values have been imbibed into him. An ingrate person soon distances himself automatically through his deeds from life and society at large. Many times such values building start at home. Which is why Appaji as our loving mother, father, Guru and God is constantly inculcating good values into us right from our childhood so that we internalize such morals. Appaji through example and deeds, teachings, and various channels is irrigating our minds to form the right thoughts and carry out righteous actions. Appaji we are forever indebted to you!!

JGD. I constantly remember Jayalakshmi Mata’s instructions to Swamiji to collect the devotees who have gone afar. Swamiji said once too that it is possible to repay the dept owed to one’s father but near impossible for the dept owed to one’s mother. How more difficult can it be to repay Guru and Paramaguru? Please accept our tiny efforts dear Swamiji. JGD.

Even though Sri Rama was the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, he still remembers the services rendered by Veera Hanuman and Jatayu. Every human being will be helped by someone during some stage of life. My prayers to Appaji and Datta to keep me humble and remember all help received.

    • Archana Penukonda on January 26, 2013 at 9:31 pm

Sri Swamiji has said this multiple times, that we should never forget the help received. From the message it is clear that when someone receives help, what sets a good soul apart is that he/she will never forget the help received. Sri Swamiji doesn’t need any help, but anyone that serves Swamiji’s mission sincerely always gets bigger blessings in return. We may tend to dismiss a small favor received and forget all about it. We may justify it saying the help was not a big deal or that we would have done the same had we been in the shoes of the person that helped. It’s clear from the message that it doesn’t matter how big or small the help was, or whether or not it (the help)was the natural thing to do. We should always remember the help received and reciprocate at the first opportunity. A lot of people forget the help received by Swamiji and walk away after they get what they want. May they all (and all of us) always remember Swamiji’s presence and guidance in our lives!

    • svetha on February 2, 2013 at 3:38 pm

My beloved SADGURU, please, let us never forget, that we are only instruments in YOUR hands (MMS 6.1.13). Without YOUR help we are nothing.
    Koti pranams.
    OM NAMO HANUMATE NAMAH
    JAYA SRI RAMA
