    Grief grows from desires :

As Sadguru explains through this video, To spare oneself from grief at all cost can be achieved only at the price of total detachment, which excludes the ability to experience happiness.. This is because true happiness is only in the company of Datta Sadguru ,one that is permanent and has no sorrow to follow it up..  We can be rest assured that it is going to be with us forever!! After all ,Sadguru deva full of karuna Is looking after us!!

  1. Jaya Guru Datta Sri. Puttuji !!!! OM DHRAM DATTAYA NAMAH !!!! Sree Guru Datta !!!

    Om Namo Hanumate Namaha!

  2. The universal truth should be an eye opener to all. But again it’s possible through Sri Swamiji’s ‘anugraham’.

Jaya Guru Datta Sri Appaji: as you say quite often you are smiling at us; that divine smile: seeing the desires and attachment we develop and and the grief we get it therefrom. Thereby you are showering your blessings to realize that and get away from that state as fast as we could: you have depicted that in the last scene of the MMS. You are so affectionate to us Appaji. Sri Guru Datta.

Jaya Guru Datta! Some desires or attachments seem to give happiness, but that’s only temporary. All desires and attachments to things or people are bound to eventually lead to grief. Even attachment to what we think are lasting relationships with our parents or children eventually bring grief due to separation. I remember reading in one of Sri Swamiji’s discourses where He said to give up all attachment. ALL attachment! May we be successful in our endeavors to do so. Obeisances to the Holy Lotus Feet!

Jaya Guru Hanuman, This reminds me of beautiful bhajan of Swamiji….

    janmāniki mūlamu kōrikalaṇḍi
    kōrikalaku mūlamu āśalaṇḍi
    āśa tīraka pōtēnē duḥkhamaṇḍi
    duḥkhamulanu anusarin̄cu rōgamaṇḍi

It says that the root cause of our birth is desires and grief arises due to attachment and desires not being fulfilled….Let us all try to be like Hanuman whose only desire is to do Rama seva without expecting anything in return.

    Om namo hanumate namaha

JGDD Appaji…as You know for many years i would let go of my grief/problems and give them to You…then…take them back and become sad and depressed all over again…please forgive me…please forgive me,.. for it is You alone who can console the heart…it is You alone who are in charge…i am powerless without Your help…SGDD

Desire to fulfill ‘my’ wish, and attachment towards ‘me’ and ‘mine’, can never keep us happy because in this process of fulfilling desires and feeling comfortable with attachment, we are busy wasting our time and as they never end, when the cycle is disturbed it leads to grief. May lord bless us all to be devoid of desires and attachment, and be happy always.
