  1. Om Bhanuve Namah ! We salute the Sun God, because He makes life possible. He radiates warmth & energy. And he doesn’t steal that energy from someone else.. he generates all of it himself

Those plants that shower their flower petals and leaves on you, Gurudeva.. are not robbing them from somewhere else. They have grown them on their own. And with pride they stand tall and colourful in sharing with you the fruits of their labor

That river flows to nurture life inside itself and on its banks. It draws the power to flow from its source up in the mountains.

Nature does not rob Peter to pay Paul. Men do, and some also call it charity!

    Pranams Gurudeva !

You lead a life of giving away what comes to you by virtue of your wilful, diligent effort. In your grace, you’ve created many opportunities for us to enjoy giving, too. We’re following you. Our work is our worship. The prasada of that seva we’ll share with the needy & do you proud. Jaya Guru Datta, Your Puttuji

It is really a subject in my life to think about it. When it is rob, and when it is money, that we get only for our work? Is my price sometimes too much, when I ask for money for my therapy? I don’t know, because I think, all is wrong with money. There are too much people which work hardly and don’t get enaugh money for theire life. I work and become much more money for it. Is that all right? Swamiji will show me the answer.

    Dear Swami AVADHOTTA,

May be I don’t know, that I rob something, if it is energy, it is not seen directly; like the fog over the river, in the beginning of this beautiful video :-))) To hold the awareness of all actions and thoughts is necessary, to be not a robber.

Thank YOU APPAJI, just got YOUR holy prasadam by post <3 <3 <3 lots of love

Somehow, it makes me sad that Sadguru has to teach us such a lesson. As far as I remember I never got into the temptation of doing such an act and I am grateful for it. But who knows, I might have committed such sins in previous births? For that reason, it is better not to critisize others if they behave that way. JGD

Safeguarding money and possessions is the biggest pain, if you ask me. Giving it all away relieves the burden and frees the mind to do other things. As Swamiji had mentioned in his recent speech, it is a myth that with money one can buy health. If God’s grace is there in the form of Guru’s grace, health, devotion, knowledge, and a good mind will all be granted and enough means for a comfortable life without having to hoard or cheat others. Money plays such dirty tricks on the human mind. It is the number one spoiler of relationships. The obsession for money makes demons out of humans. It even drags them down to such depths that to look good in the eyes of the public some donors give with pomp money that was withheld from deserving ones. Please clean our minds collectively Sadguru Sri Swamiji so that we give up our attachment to money and our deceptive nature due to greed and insecurity about the future. May our faith in you be firm and unwavering. Please help us to remember that trees grow in forests without our watering them, and the animals and birds grow with nourishment given by God. Please help us to remember that we own nothing and that our breath and energy are supported by you. Please teach us to share with others out of love and compassion and not out of a desire for showing off our superiority. Jaya Guru Datta

Money is so tricky. We should always examine the way we earn our living. Some professions require us to be sneaky and manipulative. Today’s message goes hand in hand with “Be loyal and true to yourself.” If we are true to ourselves we can be true to others.

    Dear Appaji
Please let me be careful about where I buy my clothes,
so that not underpaied women or children have sewed them.
Let me control what sort of flowers I give as a present,
so that not the person who picked it becomes poisoned from pesticides.
Let me be conscious what sort of food I eat,
so that not nature must suffer because of the long transportation way.
Let me have a sharp eye and not be indifferent to ecological and human coherences.
Please help to take loving care of all creatures!

Greed is sinful and acquiring money by unfair or dishonest means is an even bigger sin. Giving away some of this money cannot assuage the sin. I pray to Sadgurudeva that my wealth be earned fairly, and that I may be generous and humble in giving it away. Om namo Hanumate namaha. Jaya Guru Datta.

Jgd. In this Kaliyuga the Wealth of Knowledge of Avatharapurusha should be shared with others. This need not be stolen from any one. There are still people who think that Guru is theirs,God or temple is theirs, this is a wrong notion,Steal this misconception and throw it away.
    Share the Greatness of Guru.

By the end of the month November , Appaji has given a nice MMS and that to about Charity. Here we know that Appaji, Himself as Annadhana Prabhu which itself is beyond any kind of charity. Further I remember Appaji’s words saying that Annadhana Seva is the best among  the all other Sevas . That is why Appaji has formed a Trust for the same in the name of His Divine Mother Sri Jayalakshmy Mata. Everybody knows from this trust only, Appaji is doing daily Annadhana  for the needy. Here even I remember Appaji used to say to devotees to donate any amount, if they wish for this noble Seva and also to become member in that project. Now through this MMS, Appaji is reminding us  that any thing we wish to donate for any Seva , it should be from our proper way of earnings, in which case only we wiil get the beniefit  from that. Puttuji you have also given some nice examples about this concept of charity. I also recollect  here the MMS145,155, and 164. Now as per MMS,164 when our Sadguru gives love, wisdom and spiritual knowledge to us for our welfare and beniefit , it is our duty to develop His mission also in all respects and in the best possible manner by each and everybody. The photography is very apt to the MSG as Sun gives the Light from His own energy and similarly in the case of plants also.. By seeing this photograph, I remember Appaji’s words  saying that when we earn from our job or business, we should spent a portion  of our earnings for good cause also in which case only The Mother Goddess will give us continuously like the flow of a river. Therefore, Appaji we will follow your teachings and do our best for the development of your mission.   JGD.

    Liebster SWAMIJI-DATTADEVA,

jgd Swami ji generally i don’t like the word charity i feel like sharing what You have blessed me with, i think that if we pay less amount to our workers and then oblige them by paying some loan or bonus (may be that is robbing and giving their share in form of charity). Whatever Lord has given me if i use it proportionately with my fellow beings should satisfy me and my Satguru, Your photograph is telling me, “I don’t know” (Tera Tujhako sounpatey kya laagey hei mor). onhn sgd

This MMS is from a big consequance, even if we directly don’ t rob, indirectly we may support people who got the item in a robbery manner, like all the products made in the 3 rd world. All these problems comes from a greedy attitude.

    Jaya Guru Datta,
may sharing increase and corruption disappear. It exists not only in India – in the western world too. May I be less selfish and share what I have with the needy. Poverty also exist in the west and not only in India.

Jaya Guru Datta! I had to think over it for a while to get the meaning a bit deeper than at first glance…We must be dharmic at all times – also when we want to do something good to someone else. And we should work hard ourselves to be able to support the needy. Sri Guru Datta!

Jai Guru Datta, Sri Guru Datta, dear SadguruDeva, reverential and humble pranams to your Divine Lotus Feet, thank you for this practical lesson on charity and giving…..out of laziness and selfishness, i am culpable of this major error in ‘giving back to society’; this happens in subtle sneaky ways, that come to light with self-examination …..in the future, i will follow your example, of personal self-sacrifice [time, money, compassion] and surrender….Om Namah Sivaya

    • Sahadeva on December 2, 2012 at 8:09 am

    Jay Guru Datta
It is not charity to rob one to give another is interesting from philosophic standpoint. You do something wrong and do positive by giving as donation to ther people. From rational point of view is positive and negative karma brings it in balance, but the negative effect of robing remains negative. Also when you do positive energy after it. What I feel is we need confidence in Mother Nature.
    Thank you very much

    • Dr.S.J. Saikumar on December 3, 2012 at 11:22 am

I see two very important messages in this MMS. Firstly dont try to make money by unlawful means. And if you do so, don’t try to wash away that sin by giving charity. If only this message will reach all citizens of India!

    • on December 6, 2012 at 1:21 am

    Jaya Guru Datta Puttuji,

Important concept to understand… Charity is only giving what we have earned through our hard work. Thank you Appaji for this important MMS message.

    Sri Guru Datta

    • Joseph on December 9, 2012 at 8:36 am

The music used in this video was awesome. Charity and sharing are concepts only to keep us detached with wealth, prosperity and to improve the humanity within. All wealth is His, but unfortunately we are getting so attached with wealth that we are not willing to share it for the needy. It is all Your’s my lord, only for survival as method of transaction we are into the process of earning. Bless us all with the heart and mind of sharing with needy. Splendid message.

    • Mukund Mohan on December 14, 2012 at 9:48 pm

    Jai Guru Datta Appaji !!

We will work hard and earn our merits. It is Your Grace that makes everything possible. We will not take the credit for the efforts of others.

Your hand gesture conveys everything. You are asking – ‘Whom are you fooling? You think I do not know.’. There is nothing You do not know Appaji. We will conduct ourselves in a manner that keeps us worthy of your Divine Grace. Sri Guru Datta

    • Archana Penukonda on March 30, 2013 at 7:20 pm

Jaya Guru Datta! Mankind seemed to have created its own guidelines for living based on what may popularly be accepted as charity, but not necessarily based on what is righteous. Thank You Swamiji for this enlightening message. Movies have been made around characters that robbed the rich to give to the poor. It seems as if the character was serving justice, taking away the wealth earned by the greedy and the corrupt and giving away to the innocent and the underprivileged. It’s clear upon reflection that the character’s unrighteousness does not make his deeds charitable. While You teach us that giving to the needy is essential, You are asking us to be mindful of the source of that wealth we share. Righteous, moral living is more important than rich luxurious living. Wonderful lesson. Wonderful music from the track “Swaravali Raga Sagara”.

    • Pavani Kamalapuram on April 9, 2013 at 12:45 am

    JGD Appaji
Money can never buy happiness nor any security. We do not know what will happen tomorrow. Everything that happens is HIS gift. This birth itself is His gift. Whatever bestowed upon us is meant to be shared happily so that we understand the purpose of this birth,..if we cannot let go of wealth..how can we every let go of attachments. Thanks for the wonderful MMS Appaji!
