The Guru Gita emphasizes the importance of Nature. We need to ensure we do our part to preserve its sanctity and beauty so we have more places where Guru Gita can be merrily recited or listened to.
    Stanza # 132:
    Tirthe birvatarormule vatamule saritatate |
Devalaye ce gosthe ca mathe brndavane tatha |
Pavitre nirmale sthane jape ssighgra phalapradah ||
    Meaning:
Worship or meditation at a holy place, at the foot of Bilva tree or a banyan tree, on the river bank, in a temple, or cow-shed or Mutt or a grove of Tulasi brings quicker results.
The chanting of atleast one verse of the ‘Guru Gita’ standing in the river waters is of great significance. Among trees, Oudumbar (fig tree) and the coconut could be added to the list, and ‘ashrams’ also come under Mutts (monasteries).

    Saccidananda Nīti Mālā :
Everything in nature is active. The Sun, the moon and planets perform their cosmic duties with regularity and precision. Man has to learn lessons from Nature.

    Bhaktimala Dec 2008:
“If you are in harmony within yourself, the entire outside world will also be in harmony. If you see conflicts outside, it is your inner conflict, which on projection sees conflicts outside. In the grand scheme of Mother Nature, there is a beautiful arrangement for everything. Nature has not caused any conflicts anywhere. It is the human mind which creates, sees conflicts.

Father means Shiva. The vedanta calls him Shiva. Mother means Mother Goddess, Parvati. Both are joining to become Prakriti. Prakriti means Nature. If you stop mother, death comes. If you separate both death comes. So everything is rhythm. Without rhythm you can’t do anything. Try to develop a conscious connection with Nature’s Infinite.

Happy Happy Happy Happy Appaji !!Happy Happy Happy Happy Appaji !!
