‘The anger of a noble person is like a line drawn on water. Both vanish quickly.’

Noble people do not harbor their anger long and deep within them. Their anger has a benign corrective purpose. When Sri Swamiji chides us, we should take the lesson from the chiding seriously. However, we should not feel overly embarrassed, ashamed, or slighted. Appaji does all of this for our good – it is a treatment with only positive side effects – it corrects us and washes away our karma significantly. Appaji’s anger is a blessing in disguise.

True story: ‘ When I was 8-9 years old, I forgot all that I had learned, including my a b c’s. 6 months passed like that. Suddenly I had to write something. Swamiji wanted me to read a book. I had forgotten my alphabet. Swamiji got very angry. He made me serve the cows in the cowshed. Sri Bhagavat, a senior devotee was aghast. Swamiji was stubborn. He came to the cowshed. I was found asleep. Swamiji gave me a whacking. After that whatever I have learned, I have not forgotten even a word. For 9 years, every single day I recited the Saraswati Stavam of Yajnavalkya. 1000 Gayatri mantra chanting I did daily.’

Jai Appaji !! Jai Bala Swamiji !! Jai Matha Jayalakshmi !!
Sivaya Gurave Namah !! Sri Guru Datta !! Om Namo Hanumathe Namah!!
