Jaya Guru Datta. We are told that first of all, our minds get purified by following discipline and engaging in prayers and worship with sincerity and devotion. Performing rituals with selfish motives to gain boons from gods for personal profit is not the best form of prayer, as I understand from Sadguru’s teachings. Worship with prayers for Universal peace and welfare is the best worship, I believe. Sri Guru Datta

Jai Hanuman !! Happy Ground Breaking Ceremony Appaji _/\_!!
Millions of Humble prostrations to the lotus feet of Our Dattavatara Sadgurudeva _/\_ !!

    Sadgurudeva’s Discourse in Austria. ( Puja ) August 20,1995.
Pujas and homas are rituals to serve God; very special rituals. It’s a very rare subject. Nobody is giving training how to perform them, because they think they are loosing their power by giving training to others. But in the puja course you will learn about the meaning of the details. All gestures (mudras) have a special meaning. Each mudra is like a code word. I think you have seen some Indian dances. It’s the same. Each movement has a special meaning. All these mudras originate from the second part of the Sama Veda.

    Sadgurudeva: Jnaana Saagar I:
Devotion to God is the best. The Vedas describe the righteousness in detail. It is quite easy to perform the rituals as directed by the Vedas. Divya naama sankeertana (singing of divine names) is a good method to develop devotion. Purandaradasa, a great devotee said “Oh!God! I can not give anything else” and placed a Tulasi (basel) leaf in his house and dedicated the house to God.
Appaji has blessed us with so many easy ways of performing Rituals. Whatever we do, our thinking must be clear, truthful, plain, firm and stable to seek Divine Blessings !!

Sivaya Gurave Namah !! Om Namo Hanumathe Namah!!
Sri Guru Datta !! Sadguru Maharaj ki Jai !! Dallas Karya Siddhi Hanuman ki Jai !!

    pranamams to Swamiji.
Rituals are also God ordained and came with The strict
injunctions of The Almighty. They have special meanings and show
us the path of life , to purify and give us therapeutic effects. Swamiji today
gave us a special advice ,whatever we do even it be a small Tulsi leaf, should be
done with firm purity and sincerity. His Holiness is embodiment of this Ritualistic practice.
