  1. The Sri Chakra is a two dimensional representation of Creation – The interplay of the human being (microcosm) & the universe (macrocosm). The Srichakra in three dimensions is the Meru seen here.

    At the center of this interplay is Lalitha Tripurasundari – {Lailtha – She who plays; Tripura sundari – Beautiful of the three worlds (gross, subtle, supreme)}

She’s Sarvamata – She who is inferred from the resultant act (creation or jagat), as SHE is its cause.

She’s Kamesyai – Creation is an expression of her desire. She is an embodiment of the male & female forms & the energy that arises from their union – seen here as eclipse, lightening. She fulfils desires – ours & that birds.

Pranams Jayalakshmi Ma, Through your creation His Holiness, we learn to treat Mother Earth with respect, for: a) She is a part of Ma Lalitha we worship. b) She supports our gross body through which only we can experience fulfilment. Jaya Guru Datta, Your Puttuji.

Jaya Guru Datta, Swamiji! Thank you for this powerful message! So many have forgotten how connected we are to Mother Earth and her natural cycles. Her very soil holds the material of those living things that came before us. Our bodies, too, will become dust or ash…Our breath, like the tides cycles with the moon, and our natural hormonal rhythms follow the patterns of light and darkness as she spins in her dance around the sun. Even our lives follow a seasonal pattern..We all know that the earth provides our food, but she also nourishes us energetically and prevents inflammation in our bodies, the cause of many serious diseases. Recently I have been reading a book called “Earthing” which in simple terms discusses scientific studies that prove walking barefoot or making physical contact with our bare skin on the earth or concrete improves health tremendously….just spending 30 minutes a day touching our true mother can make us feel so much better….

Mother Earth, Bhoodevi is our Mother. The Sun, who supports her is our Father. That being the case, as long as we live, there is no question of our becoming orphans, ever. It is so re-assuring every morning to place my feet on the ground and feel my Mother Earth holding me up firmly. It is very reassuring to glance up at my Father the Sun, who lights up my world. Between the two of them, they provide me everything that I need, physically. For moral and spiritual strength, of course our Sadgurudeva is there. How blessed we all are! The Sun causes rain. Mother provides the seeds. The Sun gives the warmth and light. The seed sprouts and gives us food of all varieties. The food, the water, and the Sun’s light and warmth are the foundations for our physical existence. The Earth is not just the dirt under our feet for us to kick and raise dust. She is our Mother dearest without whom we have no food, no body, and no existence. Without the Sun, our Father, we have no consciousness. Jaya Guru Datta

Happy Vijaya Dashami to my real Mother Earth on whose lap I sleep every night with total confidence. My Mother Earth provides the fodder for the cow that supplies me milk for my early morning cup of coffee. She raises all the plants with nourishment she provides so that I can eat and remain strong. She gives me the ground to walk on, build a house, and to travel around as I wish. Not only does she provide me all the food that I require, without her, where would I be? Hanging in space? Thank you Mother Earth for being here for me. From the moment I began breathing, till my last day, you alone are the support for my existence. How can I thank you enough? Let me fall flat on the ground and kiss you with utmost gratitude on this very auspicious day. Jaya Guru Datta

Awesome video, Swamiji! I love how in the opening scene you show us land and water sun, plants and clouds–necessary for life and how you show the Aloe plant behind the Hummingbird reminding us of the healing herbs and sweet nectars that Mother Earth brings. I love that you show both the rain and the lightning, especially the lightning which energizes the earth’s electrical field–and how you show us those free flowing electrons flowing through the grasses which we can contact energetically when we touch the earth to improve our health….Such profound lessons in such a short video!

Earth is the shelter for all living and nonliving beings to exist, like mother carries the baby. Yes, it’s everyone’s responsibility to save Earth or land from pollution and prevent calamities due to the mishaps of humans. Earth, water and air are very essential for us to survive. So let all of us respect mother earth and contribute the best from our side. Wonderful message.

    Jai Guru Datta.
Beautiful Sri Cakras in this MMS. We are very fortunate to have our Sadguru teach us about the Sri Cakra, its relevance and worship, and how we all benefit from it. Sri Jayalakshmi Mata is in the Sri Cakra, she is Mother Earth and is worshiped by our Appaji for our benefit. This MMS reminds me of the teaching of Lord Sri Krishna who told Arjuna if does not do, His devotees will not do. Here Appaji shows respect to Mother Earth. May we seek His blessings to follow His teachings which are our real treasures. Jai Guru Datta.

This is the same Mother Earth that supported our Lords Rama and Krishna , Hanuman and Sita Mata. This same Mother Earth has supported us for countless lifetimes in our many different forms as we progress towards the Godhead. Let us walk gently on Mother. Let us not pollute her or destroy her other children. May we show love to Mothet Earth and her creatures as our Sadgurudeva has commanded. Om namo Hanumate namaha. Jaya guru Datta.

Jaya Guru Datta! There is no life without mother Earth. She feeds us like a mother. It’s one of the five elements of nature, one that we can experience with all our sense organs. Bharatnatyam dance classes require that we first salute mother earth before we begin dancing, in large part to ask for forgiveness for the intense footwork that the dance involves. Mother earth is a symbol of patience, compassion and strength. She silently bears the digging, ploughing, blasting, detonating etc we do as part of our industrial progress. She compassionately feeds all living beings that live on earth. And despite her humongous size, never stops moving. Like clockwork, Mother Earth does her duty every morning, every evening, every minute going around the sun. Her greatness and importance are probably why she (Bhu Devi) is referred to as the consort of Lord Vishnu. Appaji is like Mother Earth, feeding nurturing and taking care of us. Obeisance to the Holy Lotus Feet!

Scintillating video with a profound message. Mother earth is the only force that keeps us grounded. It is her gravitational pull that keeps us in position. No other planet has this capacity to keep us grounded. Imagine the confusion we’d suffer if we did not have her gravity!! She is the field that nurtures grains and pulses to feed us, she is the air that keeps us breathing, she is the water body that quenches our thirst and also gives us seasonal rains. She is also the one who digests us when we are laid to rest. She is Sita Mata’s mother, patience personified. She takes our abuse in her stride and still keeps us intact. Salutations to such a mother. She may not have a form like our biological mother, but she’s just as much important, in fact more than our own mother. JGD Appaji. Will keep this message in mind and remind myself everytime I am on the verge of abusing her.

Yet how well she bears our pounding her bossom with hammers and drills and chisels and crowbars enabling us to reap a rich yield or to build beautiful buildings? She teaches us so well to love even those who hurt us, a symbol of endurance and forgiveness lets all respect her, as pujya Swamiji has said and show our gratitude to her by trying to imbibe them into our lives every day of it we are alive. jayagurudatta

Mother earth is caring for us – there is only one! Many years back I had been with few friends in Mekedatu. There was only a small temple and hut there. The family in charge cooked a wonderful meal and after eating in the afternoon I took rest, lying down on the brown ground in front of the temple. Close to me a female dog was also sleeping. Suddenly I got the experience of being on mother earth’ s womb.
It was warm beautiful and absolute caring, we are all on Her lap. JGD

Before I read this mms, my friend told me about it on the telephone. She told me : She feeLs us all, instead of feeDs us. But I think my friend did not make a mistake! Because Mother Earth feels AND feeds us, because the universal Mother knows everything about us.
Before reading the mms I started thinking about what mother earth must feel about all the creatures, not only humans,” who have feelings on earth. ” My god, so many feelings every second from everywhere !”
And now, after reading the mms I started to think about Her feeDing. I thought :”So many mouthes She is feeding every second! What a loving mother is feeding us although her children do not have nice feelings and harm mother earth so much. Amma, I pray to you to go on feeding, although your children harm you!
… but some DO NOT- like Apaji!!

Show respect to mother Earth ~ 24 Oct 2012,

Much like our own mothers, mother earth also expects our affection. Like all mothers she sacrifices so many things and patiently takes care of her children. She silently bares with our mistakes. But at times when we go out of control she punishes us with no second chance. A very nice poem on mother earth has been written by one Anna Lee Walters, which says,

“I am of the earth, She is my mother, She bore me with pride, She reared me with love, She cradled me each evening, She pushed the wind to make it sing, She built me a house of harmonious colors, She fed me the fruits of her fields, She rewarded me with memories of her smiles, She punished me with the passing of time, And at last when I long to leave, She will embrace me for eternity”.

Nature is not a blind force. She is not inert. She is an intelligent principle and full of purity. She is omnipotent and omniscient. In the Indian tradition, the worship of the Mother Earth is traced back to pre-vedic culture. The Prithvi Sukta talks about human dependence on nature and the respect for it that follows naturally: “Mata bhumih, putro aham, prithivyaha”. Further the sukta says that Mother Earth is adorned with heights, slopes, plains, hills, mountains, forests, plants, herbs and treasures; She takes care of every creature that breathes and stirs. May she give us joy, wealth, prosperity, good fortune and glory.

Pujya Sri Jayalakshmi Mata has gifted us her divine energy in the form of Pujya Sri Appaji. Let us follow Pujya Appaji`s foot steps in respecting Mother Earth. All of us are aware of the respect and love Pujya Appaji has for mother nature. Our Mysore ashrama is a testimony for HIS unfathomable affection to nuture Mother nature. Let us all make a promise at the lotus feet of Pujya Appaji, that we will respect and protect Mother Earth, for our future. jaya guru datta!

Show respect to mother Earth ~ 24 Oct 2012

Amazing video that depicts all that Mother Earth does for us! We must respect Mother Earth. Her patience and perseverance is unmatched! The extent to which we have abused Her is unimaginable! The pollution that we cause has hurt her and it shows in the calamities that occur! In order to feed us, She takes all the painful blows! She nurtures the plants and trees and has blessed us with bounty! Be it food grains or fruits or vegetables or the beautiful flowers for worship of the Lord! Mother Earth is here to support our life. We must respect her for her sacrifice! Sri Jayalakshmi Mata represents nature and Mother! We now see her in the form of Sri Swamiji! He has always protected and worshiped nature. Let us walk in the direction shown by Him, respect Mother Earth, so that future generations also get Her blessings, else we are inviting Her fury! We humbly pray at the lotus feet of Sri Swamiji who is an embodiment of patience and sacrifice, just like Mother Earth! The melodious Bhajan Tripure Trigune Trikale only adds more grace to the beautiful visuals! Jaya Guru Datta!

What a lovely video, the landscape … the music, how often did we sing this tune in Satsang group !
Like amrita it is soothing my nerves …

When Armstrong visited the moon and had his first look on mother earth, he was very touched.
This beautiful blue planet, so fragrant, worthy to be protected … moving around in vast space …
after his trip to the moon, he wrote a book about his experiences and he wasn`t the same as before .

Today, we have the possibility – thanks to internet and fotografies – also to have a glimpse on
mother earth, and I feel very very small sometimes … like an ant or something.
We have the power to destroy our planet, may we be as small as we are, that`s a fatal thing.
When I think of the rain forests, the animals, pollution etc. I feel guilty for us.

We are nothing more than evil little creatures destroying our beautiful planet, out of this view …
But … on the other hand, we have the power to uplift, satvic power.
And we should use it.! Dear Datta helps !

Tripure trigune trikale Kindly transform my body into Bhupura .
The deities of the 8 supernatural powers sing Your glory.
Mother You are the ruler of the tune Nata. I serve You.

I feel that mother earth is a real mother, loving, patient and all-giving. sometimes I feel that the earth is suffering from our maltreatment and that she answers so lovingly to a kind respectful sensitive and compassionate approach. I love the way sri swamiji dedicates His presence and His Divine voice for this existential message. and I feel deeply grateful to the ancient indian culture that profoundly reveres mother earth and nature as we can reverentially experience year by year in the magnificent navaratri celebrations of our beloved sadguru being the Divine mother Himself.
