  1. In His love & compassion for our uplift, His Holiness plays many roles.. Gardener, Teacher, Driver, Sculptor, Mentor.. roles which shape us to fulfilment, according to our unique nature.

This Friday, we are so gratified to see Appaji play the role of Mother.

When it comes to nurturing their children, Mothers never run out of unconditional love. Mothers see their children as expressions of their own self.. and hence can never be partial to one, at the cost of hurting the others.

Gardeners, teachers & sculptors act upon you, shaping you from the outside. Mothers love nourishes you from all around & from within, so you blossom to your potential, at your own pace. That love knows no partiality.. no discrimination.

    Dear Shakti Swaroopa Gurudeva,

You’re Tripuramba, nourishing us from within. We see your divinity all around us & will therefore treat everyone equally. In doing so, we’ll serve your mission to our fulfilment. Jaya Guru Datta, Your Puttuji

When I got my name from Swamiji, I asked a priest, what it means (my name is Savitri). He explaned, that I should treat all people equally how the sun does with its rays. The rays go to the earth their way and shine on all, what is there. They don’t make a difference between different things. This video says exactly what I should do every day.

    Dear Swami AVADHOTTA,

Oh APPAJI, that is something I do so often 🙁 it is so difficult to see all persons equal. So many times I reflect my thoughts and see how I judged, condemn and segregate some one 🙁
More and more I read YOUR MMS, I see what a great sinner I am, please forgive me my ignorance.
Sri Guru Datta and deep love from the bottom of my heard <3

    Jai Guru Datta.
A beautiful message. Our Appaji has been showing us by example that He does not discriminate. He gives His grace to everyone and anyone who seeks it. Race, religion, nationality, status, name, ethnicity, job do not matter to Sadguru. He is like the Sun, the energy of Sri Cakra, showering His grace on all. May He bless us to behave in a manner where we would always treat everyone equally. Sri Sadgurave Namaha.

Appaji, You are the greatest example of this command. Regardless of who comes before you. You LOVE. It is important for us to remember that if something is bothering us about another, we must look inwards and see what is off within our own life. This declaration of equality extends to all beings. This is a very powerful exercise; and one that will no dooubt lead us to higher realms of experience through your Grace. Thank you. Jaya Guru Datta.

    Jaya Guru Datta,
there are many ways people get discriminate. Racial and ethic discrimination, discrimination of the basis of nationality, gender-identity discrimination, caste discrimination, religious discrimination, disability discrimination or language discrimination. Our beloved Swamiji is not discriminating anybody – may we follow his example.

And maybe more: we can help and support the ones who are discriminated and stand on there side!
    Sri Guru Datta

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji, beautiful message to us all…..

  5. Jaya Guru Datta. I will try to remember that if I am born again into a new body it could be any race, ethnicity or background. Perhaps in my former lives I was Jewish or Mormon or maybe black or white. Maybe I was a man or obese or maybe I was born into a poor family. Let me always remember that I am not this body, that I am more than that. Let me remember that we are all God’s children, we all belong to you Divine Mother Sri Swamiji. Let me become like you, and not see a difference or discriminate, and just love. Sri Guru Datta

Swamij, you are miraculously amazing! Last week, a professor at a college where I used to teach died suddenly of a heart attack. In a panic, the college called and asked if I would cover the classes for the rest of the semester. I agreed, but in so doing, I will have less time in Dallas with Swamiji since they are Monday and Friday classes and so I can’t come until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving when break begins. Though I am deeply grateful and happy to do this service, I was sad to have less time with Swamiji. This morning, I was with one of my new groups…I am trying to make it easy for them since they are grieving the loss of their instructor, so I promised I would continue to follow their former professor’s syllabus until the end of the semester. I got his notes so I could see what he had planned…today’s topic—Discrimination!!! As I walked into class this morning, all I could do was smile…I knew Swamiji was telling me it was OK that I was going to be missing a few days and that He was with me as I went in there to deal with this difficult situation. We had a great time in class and it was a lively discussion. How blessed I felt to be teaching this topic today….how wonderful you are Swamiji!

What an apt MMS on the 9th November, the day of the pogrom against Jewish people in Germany 74 years ago. We are all children of the Divine, each of us with our individuality. Sri Swamiji does not make a difference between us. We are all HIS children.

All are part of Mother’s creation. As someone who has interacted with many different races, classes and cultures I find that underneath of these superficial differences we are all the same. Appaji leads the way, he shows love to all , Sadgurudeva sees our heart not our colour, class or religion. May we earn from HIS example. Om namo Hanumate namaha. Jaya Guru Datta.

Appaji has given a very nice MMS which is very useful for our today’s life style Puttuji. You have also given a nice explanation for this MMS. It is a fact that everybody has got the importance for their nature of work. For example if you take an office, there will be so many people working in different department. But everybody  has got the responsibility to full fill  the work or project depend up on the situation. At the same time the superiors should treat everybody  is equal, considering to their nature of work. Then only the project or the work will be successful according to their ideas. But in this Kaiyuga  it is very diffcult to make understand people and they will give importance for their work only and will never appreciate  the talent of others who are also involved. Therefore to overcome this problem and to up lift our mind , we have to follow a Sadguru who will guide us in right way and put us through the spiritual path. Hence Appaji is reminding us here that in this busy world at least spend sometime in a day  for development of our spiritual path also . If we practice like that Definately in our life also we behave with others in such a way and treat them also equally and give importance for their work or job what ever may be the case.   JGD.

Reminds me of the movie ‘My Fair Lady’, that showed how just the way a good person enunciated the words turned her in the world view from a ‘creature in the gutters’ to a ‘duchess’. Before I met Swamiji, how quickly I used to show prejudice based on the way a person dressed, wore hair, spoke, ate, sat, smelled, or looked! He has changed my perception drastically in the past years. To our Sadgurudeva we are all the same, white, brown, black, yellow, in jeans, sarees, punjabis, dresses, speaking whatever language or remaining silent, being young, middle aged, old, thin, fat, in-between, innocent, crooked, rich, poor, well, ill, pretty or not, smart or not so intelligent. Had he judged me the way I used to judge others, what would have been my pitiful fate! We judge by appearances, smells and sounds. He does not judge but accepts us all as we are, seeing us as divinity, the divinity that we fail to see in others. He wishes for us to rise to his level. It is possible only by his grace.

Jai Guru Datta, dear Sri Swamiji, yes! yes! yes! the possibility to discriminate can rear it’s odious head in subtle and unsuspecting ways….as it is said, God and Guru, like the Sun shines on Everyone, we must strive to emulate You, and stay on top of mental weaknesses that can bring slips into discrimination. Thank you for constantly steering us in the direction of true progress. Sri Guru Datta! Om Namah Sivaya! Om Aim Hreem Shreem Lalithambaya Namah! Om Namo Hanumate Namah! Jai Guru Datta

Since I have come to know Sri Swamiji, 22 years back, I am in a process of learning. First, I did not appreciate everyone alike, it lasted many years, and now, very slowly, I`m trying to do so.
    What a hard work !
One question in my mind helps me a lot :
How would Sri Swamiji act and think in this moment?
Of course he would compassionately refer to everyone alike, with the same love and understanding, because everyone is a child of nature.
Mother nature nourishes and nurtures all of us and we belong together …..
This feeling of oneness has only developped slowly in me, over the year in waves so to speak,
and today I`m glad that this idea is no longer an abstract phrase to me, but has formed into
a lively, warm hearted feeling in my mind. I`m convinced of it.
Always having Sri Swamiji`s view of oneness in mind, gives me the chance of being a witness, stepping back and letting the scene pass by, sometimes in poise and equilibrium, sometimes impatiently,
    but then at least I try …….. … …
very often, realization takes place …….. and help comes,
perhaps not immediately, but after a while.
Ps : Patience is the greatest penance …..

So, Sri Swamiji gives me the conviction and strength to hold on !

    • Joseph on November 11, 2012 at 12:59 pm

God treats everyone equally like His children. It would be nice if all of us can practise the same, but I feel practising this is little difficult because as a human i limit myself to me and people in my life. This feeling brings in this discrimination. But trying to treat everyone equally means that one is trying to be more human and can extend his helping hand who is in need without any discrimination. Marvellous message to be followed by everyone.

    Showing discrimination is a sin – 9 Nov 2012

We all talk a lot about being very broad minded, about being impartial. To what extent do we really follow this?? How many of us treat a waiter at a hotel politely and thank him for his service.? How many of us at home treat our servant maids as another human being just like us, and treat them equally? Very very few! We believe we are superior because of our arrogance and ego. We think that these people are only for our service. We not only discriminate people based on their status, but also on caste, creed, religion etc. God made us all alike. We all breathe the same or, drink the same water. Nature does not discriminate us on any of this criteria. Air or water doesn’t become purer because a wealthy person or a Vedic pundit is passing by. Earthquakes, floods, droughts do not discriminate. Then why do we mortal, small, selfish humans discriminate?? Let us get over our lowly ideas and truly put what we speak into practice. Let us all treat all beings equal and understand that it is the same spark of divinity in all beings. Thank you Appaji for this warning to remove our hypocrisy!! Jaya Guru Datta!
