  1. One can walk into the ocean from a lush green mountain, or from a well crafted ramp.. various ways to one destination
It is a short life, through vast, varied & deceptive terrain. Each one has to find his own way to the Ocean, depending on where he begins his journey from
One is fortunate, if a Guide finds him on the way, and is willing to show him the path. It is upto the traveler to follow the Guidance. Or risk reinventing his own path. It’s a short life, for a long journey
The journey into the inner world is similar
    Pranams Sadguru!
We’re fortunate you’ve chosen to guide our journey to self-realization from within
You’re Adhokshajah – One who’s perceived only when the senses – indriyas – (aksha gana-s) are turned inward, because as our Spiritual Master, you dwell deep within (adhah)
So many paths you’ve laid for us to choose, according to our own inner disposition. We’re grateful. We follow you to our fulfilment
    Jaya Guru Datta. Your Puttiji

Jaya Guru Datta! One of the beauties of the Datta family is that we come from so many different backgrounds. Sri Swamiji always encourages us to practice the faith of our birth. In the ashram, leaders of all faiths have been guests. It is a truly ecumenical setting. Sri Guru Datta!

  3. Jaya Guru Datta Appaji ! Thank you for the wonderful MMS !
“One guiding principle behind World Scripture is that all religions are connected to the same Ultimate Reality and lead people toward a common goal. This is true even though the various religions make exclusive claims about themselves, sometimes asserting the uniqueness and incomparability of their God or ultimate principle. Nevertheless, in affirming the existence of Ultimate Reality or an ultimate principle, we assume that it can be only one, regardless of the various beliefs which people hold about it — be it described as one or many, impersonal or personal, absolute emptiness or absolute Being, and regardless of the name by which it is called.

Similarly, the goals of spiritual practice for each religion, while not identical, have much in common Since the ideals imbued in human nature are universal, we may expect to find that people who have reached the goal, be it enlightenment, salvation, sanctification, self-realization, or liberation, indeed manifest the highest human qualities: love, compassion, wisdom, purity, courage, patience, righteousness, strength of character, calmness of mind, and inner joy. Regardless of religious belief, people who have realized such a goal inevitably impress others by their personal virtue. Ultimately, these goals converge and become one, inasmuch as they express the best of our common humanity.”
We are very proud of Dattapeetham and our dear Sadguru Deva who not only preaches but practices by hosting the Gurus of all the Religions and by celebrating all the festivals of various Religions establishing universal brotherhood. Appaji ! You are Omnipresent and Omnipotent Appaji !! You are Allah, You are Datta and You are Jesus. You ingrained such positive thoughts among all of us !! Pranams !!

The various religions are leading us on various path to the same God. Every path is differently well suited for us. Each way allows us to advance with different speed. Following Sri Swamiji is such an efficient way to reach our Divine inner Self, our wonderful and final destination where we belong to. There is nothing higher than this. Sri Swamiji guides us step for step on this way. He is always closely watching us and giving us experiences in our life or in our dreams. So often the right message of Sri Swamiji comes at the right time where we can really understand it and use it in our daily life. With Him it is like driving fast on a broad and nicely marked way. Everything which comes from Him is so beautiful and Divine. We are so blessed that we can live here on earth when He is here with us.
Koti pranams to the Divine Lotus Feet of Sri Swamiji.

Jaya Guru Datta! The many fights between some representatives of various religions are a result of ego and ignorance. Otherwise, it cannot be explained why these people concentrate more on putting down other religions rather than to find their path to the divine. In the last few years, I have to admit that I sometimes find it difficult to accept muslim aggression (of course knowing that there has been aggression in the name of all kinds of religions throughout history). I’m also very angry when witnessing the misuse of a religion. I then tell myself that these people are only a mirror to me and that I should love them as my brothers and sisters, but I do fail regularly. It is all the divine play, but I hope that the very dark times in this regard will be overcome soon, but I’m afraid it will take some time. All we can do is to remind us of what is behind all this and to pray as well as being role models of dharmic life incl. respecting and loving all others, no matter who they are and do. Appaji, please bless me to do so. Sri Guru Datta

Splendid message, God is only one who is all pervading. Like various dishes of food according to our taste similarly various forms of God are described, but the almighty is only one. May lord bless us all to understand the various paths to experience and reach the almighty.

A nice lesson, Appaji has given today through this MMS 359. According to me the main concept is to reach the selfrealization. When snow melts and flow as water from the mountain , on the way it goes through various region and finally it’s aim is to reach the ocean only. Similarly there are lot of religion who follow different path to reach God. But in this Kaliyuga , we need a Sadguru to guide us in the right path to reach the God. Otherwise , out of ignorance we may do lot of mistakes and will not succeed to reach our aim. Here we are so fortunate to get our Sadguru , Who is Lord Datta and follow His words and teachings and He will put us in the right path and not only that, He will guide to reach the selfrealization . According to me this is what Appaji is expected from every Datta devotee. Once we reach the self realization , it is easier to reach God. Here every Datta devotee can choose any teachings of our Appaji to reach God ultimately . Unlike academic education , one must follow spiritual training through a Sadguru till the end of life to reach the God or in otherwords to reach the seselfrealization. The photography and the music (Dancing tune)are apt for this MSG. Thank You Appaji for such a nice MSG which has got a deep inner meaning and the importance of follow Your words and teachings. JGD

    JGD Appaji
Appaji always says we should never change our swadharma. If born a Hindu, be a good Hindu. If born a christian, be a good christian. Our dharma or the religion we are born into is the path He has chosen for us. Rather than criticizing other religions and beliefs, we need to concentrate on the path He has chosen for us to reach Him faster. The best part of Appaji is He is the destination, the journey, and even the companion in our life no matter what our religion.
