  1. Jaya Guru Datta Sri Appaji_/\_ !!
Happy Sravana Somavara pranams at the Lotus feet of Pujya Sri Appaji _/\_!!
    Krishna Krishna Mukunda Janardana:
Krishna, the beautiful, wearing the garland of Tulasi leaves, various ornaments, holding the flute, the veena, is protecting all the worlds.
Pujya Puttuji, with this beautiful MMS we are getting ready (through YS) for the mass Chanting of Vishnu Sahasra Nama on August 17, in SGS Dundigal Ashrama on the occasion of SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI !!
    SGS Gems:
-A potted tree on the balcony. A Tulasi plant in the window. Audumbara bonsai where it is sunny . These you can grow even in a city.
-Worship holy trees like Audumbara and holy plants like Tulasi. They bless you with good fortune.
    Sadgurudeva: Jnaana Saagar I:
Devotion to God is the best. The Vedas describe the righteousness in detail. It is quite easy to perform the rituals as directed by the Vedas. Divya naama sankeertana (singing of divine names) is a good method to develop devotion. Purandaradasa, a great devotee said “Oh! God! I cannot give anything else” and placed a Tulasi (basel) leaf in his house and dedicated the house to God.

Those who perform Tulasi puja every day will be granted the result of performing lakhs of Aswamedha yagas.
Trijagathi Tulasi jayate, Tripurusha vinutha Tulasi
Those who would be given Tulasi theertha during their death time get rid of all their sin and reach Vaikuntha. Eat one leaf at least a day for maintaining good health. Those who wear Tulasi get the blessing of performing one Lakh Ashwamedha yagalu. Tulasi body turned into river Gandaki and crores of Vishnu amsas turn to Salagramas (pious stone like organism used in worship as the form of lord Vishnu) are found in the river. In that river Srihari is present during early in the morning. It is Klapa Vriksha.
SGG# 132. Suitable places for reciting Sri Guru Gita:
    Tirthe bilavatarormule vatamule sarittate
Devalaye ca gosthe ca mathe brindavane tatha
Pavitre nirmale sthane japassighra phalapradah ||
Worship or meditation at a holy place, at the foot of Bilva tree or a Banyan tree, on the river bank, in a temple, or cow-shed or a Mutt (monastery) or a grove of TULASI brings in quicker results.
Remembering Prasad Anna’s fb post on Guru Poornima :
“Guru Purnima Blessings. Appaji stands next to a Tulasi TREE in front of Home named Guru Kripa”
Sivaya Gurave Namah !! Sri Guru Datta !! Om Namo Hanumathe Namah!!

Jaya Guru Datta, I’ve always loved growing Tulasi. It blesses the home. Swamiji has said many times we should have at least one plant on the porch or on a window sill. Sri Guru Datta!
