  1. {Nataraja – The Lord of Dance – Shiva}
Is the dancer different from the dance he portrays? No. Agreed?
If you see the dancer, you miss the dance. If you see the dance, you miss the dancer. Right?
It is ignorance to differentiate between the dance & the dancer. That ignorance is caused by the senses & the mind. When that ignorance is destroyed, the dance & the dancer become one. Not that the dance or the dancer have changed. The perceiver has changed.. devoid of ignorance
Like a male deer’s horns that protect it & also make it vulnerable, our mind can either enable or disable our perceiving God in all His glory
    Pranams Sathgurudeva!
You’re the Nataraja of the Kaliyuga destroying the demon Apasmara – symbolizing Ignorance, in our minds
How simply you have exposed the veil that hides our Creator from us!
With controlled senses & pure minds, we’ll raise that veil & discover oneness with our Creator. In your grace, we can. We will
    Jaya Guru Datta! Your Puttuji

Because I know and feel, that this video shows the truth, sometimes I hate my body with the sense organs, which make wishes. Without body I would have much less problems. I must learn to like my body and to find a realtion to it, that I don’t make me ill.

This is a nice comparison, thank you dear Appaji! There are always clouds inside me, sometimes many, sometimes less. May the day come when they will all be dissolved! Humble prostrations to Your Lotus Feet.

Jai Guru Datta! The more we think of and concentrate on the Sun-Sadgurudeva through the various practises, the less the clouds have a chance to appear. How beautiful is a day in its luminosity without a single cloud in the sky! Grateful pranams to our Sun

Beautiful audiovisuals with exemplifying message. May lord bless us all to visualise and experience God within us by removing obstacles caused by sense organs and mind.

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji – a great message today loaded with a lot of Appaji’s saying. One thing that immediately strikes to me is the analogy of the ‘key’ Appaji gave in so many discourses. Mind is like that lock/key relationship – anyone with a key has the capacity to either lock or unlock oneself. Similarly the mind is the key to either lock or unlock us. The mind is like a zen (in Japanese tradition) which is a strength and weakness – both in itself. Rather than concentrating and worrying about the unwanted consequences from the wanderings of the mind, we should be working towards helping ourselves using the same ‘mind’ – Thanks a lot Appaji for a great message.

Jaya Guru Datta! Your message so beautifully illustrates that the divine is always there, the grace of the Guru is always there, it’s our mind that’s not able to see it. During difficult times, one may feel like he doesn’t have the grace of God. I’ve learned over time that the grace of the Sathguru are like the rays of the sun, always present. The clouds of the mind and the sense organs block us from experiencing that grace. The sense organs are like horses controlled by the reins of the mind. The charioteer called intellect, can, by following the instructions of the Sathguru, control the reins to steer the horses in the right direction. It’s easy to see that when we feed noble thoughts, divine music, Swamiji’s discourses to the mind, it continues to see the grace of Swamiji. When we feed the mind things that gratify the senses, all those illusory things seem real taking our mind away from the divine. May the Lotus Feet of the Sathguru always guide my intellect!

    Jaya Guru Datta
    Om Rudraya Namah
Sri Swamiji lets us perceive a glance of God with our sense organs by His Divine Music and His Divine Smile. Since God encompasses also the sight and light He can only be experienced by His Divine Grace.
Koti pranams to the Divine Lotus Feet of Sri Swamiji.

  3. Jaya Guru Datta. I have wondered why I did not know what Sri Swamiji is when I first saw Him. Not that I know now or my small mind can comprehend…. But I know that He is Lord Shiva and Mother Goddess and much more. So many clouds. I pray for my love for Mother Swamiji to grow and grow leaving no room for such separation or thoughts of me and mine. I love you, I love you, I love you. Sri Guru Datta

Through today’s MMS, Appaji is reminding us the importance of the role of our mind and sense organs in our life. Puttuji you have also given a nice explanation about Lord Siva in the form of Nataraja, Who destroyed the demon and also about the male deer, how his horns protect him and at the sametime out of ignorance how it is going through the wrong path and facing the danger. Therefore the photography is apt for this MSG. Similarly here Appaji is saying how it is affecting, we as humanbeing . In this Kaliyuga most of the people are attracted in worldly pleasures and in unwanted desires. Due to this we have to face lot of problems in our life at a latter date , because of our ignorance, mind settings and sense organs. In otherwords we will not be in a position to distinguish, what is correct and Not, and which the right path and wrong path. Therefore to overcome this we have to control our mind and sense organ . It is not so easy as we think, unless, we practice or follow through spiritual path under the guide lines of our Saguru. Hence in this Kaliyuga , Appaji You are our Lord Siva in the form of Nataraja, destroy our ignorance and give strength to control our mind and sense organs, for which we follow your words and teachings in the spiritual path in all respects. JGD.

The emphasis is on need to exercise control over senses, but I found it difficult to put in practice in case of mine. Man yields to worldly temptations and falls pray to senses which are strong to resist. We are drawn towards them and finds it difficult to secure release from its clutches. The MMS says control over sense organs is very much needed to realize God. Some where I read, it is to be like “A boat may float, but care should be taken to see that water does not get into it through any hole”. By following Your messages, teachings, and bhajans we make earnest efforts to not to fall to worldly temptations. With Your blessings let such clouds that block the vision of God by us would vanish. JGD.

Our humble prayers to Appaji, to remove these clouds and show us god, and to use our “sense organs”, “sensibly”.

SATHA KOTI PRANAMAS TO LOTUS FEET OF SADGURU DEVA.

  6. I LOVE this analogy with its corresponding video pictorials!
There is sooo much being told (taught) to us here!I am sure it is the essence of the Vedas in this one musical Message!
I love the analogy that God is Like the sun, playing peekaboo through the clouds!
Our clouds are the cloudy mind and thoughts, past negative thought processes, inclinations. Swamiji has graciously come to us to help us clear those clouds with different methods like Kriya Yoga, namasankertana, devotee friends who lend an ear in times of distress, and Yes, big time in these Musical messages sent out DAILY! What love he must have for us! To keep pulling us back to where we belong! With vanishing cloudy minds/skies, (No more clear to partly cloudy but clear skies one day if we keep on trying!) so we can see our true being, one with our creator , shining within! Immense Pranams Swamiji!

    Jaya Guru Datta,
Again we got blessed with divine music today. What a precise singing and drumming! I will listen to it again and again. Can somebody tell me WHO it is (CD)?

Listening to divine music helps to focus on God and helps to destroy the clouds! My humble prostration to Lord Shiva our savior. Dear Puttuji – thank You for Your lovely words and explanation.

    Jaya Guru Datta Appaji_/\_!!
Today’s MMS is in continuation of Yesterday’s MMS – Singing the glory of God drives out the sins from your mind.
    Sadgurudeva, Datta Swarupa :
There is an imperceptible and subtle benefit that satsang confers. It
removes the obstacles, without the participant being conscious of it to
lead a purposeful and divine life. It weans the mind along with the
sense organs, away from the pursuit of short lived sense gratifications
which are in fact wombs of misery and shows the path to eternal
    beatitude.
    Sadgurudeva, Dharma Divine Dairy:
Control over sense organs is very much needed for the realization of
God. Singing the names of the Lord devoutly and fervently enables such control.
Following You Sadgurudeva for your Grace.
    Sri Guru Datta !!

    • Pavani Kamalapuram on April 9, 2013 at 3:10 am

    JGD Appaji
Controlling the sense organs completely is only possible by His grace. We can train and divert our mind to start moving towards the divine by listening to Appaji’s music and His teachings.. Mind needs to be occupied with something all the time..lets lead it towards Appaji..one day only with His blessings, it will automatically be filled with Him.
