Reasoning and Inferences:
-A spectacular event does not leave an indelible impression. It is always forgotten when something more colorful happens
-A soothing spiritual experience illuminates, for the duration of that experience, the pathway to God. It creates an yearning for more such experiences. The joy from that brief glimpse is enduring as it is complete and undiluted
-Just as all that glitters is not gold, so too, not all spectacular events are actually grand spectacles
-Just as all roads lead to Rome, so too, many spiritual experiences lead us to God
-A gala party leaves us feeling wasted and bloated
-On the other hand, Appaji’s spiritual journey leaves us energized and invigorated
