An expert potter sees a useful pot in a lump of clay, brings that pot to life shaping up the clay with his deft hands, and also preserves & furthers the skill of pottery by teaching it to deserving disciples.
Pottery is a practice.. not taught through lecture, but by a pair of expert hands holding & guiding the students hands, on the wheel. An expert potter talks through his pottery.
So too, Spiritual practice is taught in silence, by the Guru who guides from ‘within’.. which is the seat of spiritual practice.

Swamiji does this best. He does not speak about how much He loves his devotees. He personally visits, to shower His blessings upon them in their homes, towns, and temples in far away places, without a thought for the strain, time, expense, and inconvenience involved for Himself. He does not lecture about how much He cares for the physical comfort of His followers. He simply builds sufficient rooms for accommodating them and provides the means to feed them all timely, nutritious food. He does not just say that He makes no distinctions in showering His blessings, He hugs and personally feeds animal, birds, children, and adults with equal tender love. He never boasts of His expertise in just about any field. He just gives divine music concerts, builds magnificent temples, designs lovely structures, composes and publishes exquisite poems and songs, and gives the most exhilarating discourses, and heals in the most comforting manner, ailments physical, mental, and spiritual. Others boast that they work hard to serve Him, not realizing that He is the giver of their strength, intelligence, and initiative. Jaya Guru Datta

Jaya Guru Datta! Thank You for the wonderful comment, Puttuji. It’s not enough to say we will follow Sri Swamiji’s messages. The only thing that matters is that we actually implement those lessons in our lives. It is said “Empty vessels make more noise” and “Actions speak louder than words”. In the spiritual path, the more we do and the less we say, the better. We don’t need to convince Swamiji with our words because He is witness to every thought in our mind. We only need to let Swamiji’s lessons shine through our actions. This lesson holds true for our personal and professional lives. Let our actions convey our capabilities. Let our actions reflect the generosity and morality that Swamiji teaches us. This is possible only by the grace of Swamiji. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

On 1st may, Appaji has given a good lesson to us through this MMS 336. Puttuji, you have given a nice explanation about the potter and how he has created a beautiful pot from the clay. In otherwords, he shows his talent in his action only and not simply in words or talk. Similarly if we take our Appaji, how He has established the Dattapeetham to this level by His own effort, for which first , we have to offer our koti Pranams to Him. But here we have to remember that all these happened through His action only by giving proper advise to each and every devotee and still it continue for our own benefit. Similarly our Appaji is Raga raginy tantra Raksha , Who protect, , taking care and guide the techniques of Music and according to me , He is the only Spiritual Holy person Who can develop the music to such a high level and that is why all eminent and leading artists are accompanying in every concert through out the world. This is because He is NadaYogi and NadaBrahma through which , He cures lot of people for various disease and give mental peace and happiness . From this we should realize that , every thing is by His own effort, talent and action only. More over He is a silent teacher Who use this music for teaching us the concept of silence through which we can develop concentration and control our mind also. The photography is apt for this MSG and the music is also giving a soothing effect. Thank You , Appaji to give us such a nice lesson and we also do our seva to Your mission by way of our action only and not by simply talking or speaking . JGD.

Thank You for taking so many roles out of compassion and love for us.. one of them.. the expert potter.. and teaching us that clay exits,.different shapes can be made with the same clay,.,but the basic element is clay in all..Similarly creator exits..different shapes made out of the same creator..ie the creation have the same basic element of Him..the supreme consciousness.
