Appaji, I remember your beautiful talk on the number 13 on New Years Eve and the wonderful story about the vratam Draupadi performed with the Karya Siddhi Hanuman mantra and the black thread for 13 days. Again you give us this mantra with its 13 syllables…please help us fully understand the significance these teachings…
Jaya Guru Datta! Puttuji, today’s episode is yet another reminder that Sri Swamiji, only knows to give and love and protect. Shata Shloki Ramayan was being played the world over to protect this world and protect ourselves. In the process, we got closer to the Ramayana and understood it better. As if that wasn’t a huge gift in itself, Sri Swamiji spent countless hours encouraging everyone to play and recite SSR while playing it Himself. Appaji monitored the view count and blessed everyone to do better. He spared no effort, even went to Ayodhya for the finale. But, He didn’t stop there. He blessed the top 13 viewers with special prizes and even today continues to encourage us.
I wish we could all be devotees that only need to be told once. But, that doesn’t stop Appaji from relentlessly making the effort to remind us, guide, chide, teach and uplift us. And that’s because Appaji is the divine mother, who is guiding Her children. The first namam in Lalita Sahasra Namam – Sri Mata – is what Sri Swamiji is!
