Guru is far beyond caste, position, fame, power & wealth. These just don’t attract Him. Like we saw in yesterday’s MMS337, pristine devotion in a clean heart is what He is looking for. Kannappa & Sudhama are great examples.
Guru is an Ocean of Mercy. If that Ocean must surround one’s being, one must give up all surface links with his mainland (ego). Nothing more needs to be done
The flower opens up unconditionally, and the bee pollinates it.
We are what we repeatedly do. Our relationships are what we repeatedly identify or associate ourselves with. In times of need our relationships are our rescue. In good times we make the choices that rescue us in tough times. We make our destiny.

Caste, position etc are all only for the materialistic world. All these should be used for Guru’s service only. But they have no significance in the spiritual life. We need to give up the ego derived from them and surrender at Sadguru’s feet. Thank you Sri Swamiji for another great message remining us that these things are all very trivial. Jaya GuruDatta

In the Life History of Swamiji there are a couple of chapters where he mentions the arrogant attitude of individuals shown because of their caste, each believing that theirs is superior to the other’s. Swamiji alone stands clearly above all such differences, treating all equally – the rich, the poor, the high caste, the so-called low caste, the highly placed, and the lowly worker, the famous and the obscure. We have to become like Him to win His grace. He holds hands and hugs with equal eagerness and tender love each of the above. Are we able to do it wholeheartedly at all times? It is a question to ask ourselves and to overcome our hypocrisies totally. It is easier said than felt in the heart. It is easier to maintain pretenses occasionally to impress others than to be bluntly honest with ourselves, enough to bring about a change within ourselves to see everything and everyone in Creation as equal.

What a nice lesson, Appaji has given through MMS 338 with deep inner meaning. Here each word of this MSG has got it’s importance. When we follow our Sadguru the concept of caste means, we are all in one family and that is Datta family. This is the lesson , Appaji is giving to us. According to me all other words of this MSG are all come under one group. If one person has got position , then the the other things will come automatically. But what ever may be , one is acquiring , if he is not follow a Sadguru , what is use of these things. This is because , side by side such person will develop ego , jealous , pride and arrogance etc. If so they will go in the wrong path and mislead in their life, especially in this Kaliyuga . At the sametime when we follow our Sadguru , He will put in the right path , open our eyes and bring out from darkness to light. This is because His mercy is like an ocean towards us. The photography is also apt for this MSG since the flower opens and facing the sun and the Bee is automatically attracted. Similarly through our Sadguru’s teachings and His mercy we are attracted and there by we can surrender these things at His lotus feet and earn His grace. Jai guru datta it’s easy to read your message but very hard to swallow u are challenging us on less than second 1000 times with your grate Maya .. we are really tired to come out from your maya as we are sinked in the flow of your grace but never carrying that feeling because of your maya please for give us and allow us to bow with all our mind and body to your feet’s and the grace .. please allow us to make a feeling of love with every one and every thing happen to me with your grace .. even i am not knowing how to thank my parents teach me and make me to say thanks for the even enemy here after … u r really having great maya please allow us to with stand the feeling u only my guru and everything for my life and keep me to give respect to all and mould me as a best tool in your bag..
Jaya Guru Datta! The omnipresent God comes to us in the form of a Guru to uplift us. If we are to earn the Guru’s grace and get closer to Him, we have to be able to understand Him. The Guru Gita says that Universe is within the Guru and Guru is at the center of the Universe. Such an omnipresent Guru pervades all animate and inanimate. But, divisions of caste, creed, wealth, fame etc divide us along artificial and unreal lines. As long as I hold on to such divisions, I’m clearly not able to see that the Guru is everywhere and in everyone. Today’s message is also in Guru Gita: Svaashramam cha svajaatim cha svakeertim pushti vardhanam, etat sarvam parityajya gurumeva samashrayet. I pray for a better understanding of Sathguru’s divinity. I pray that we can always see the divine everywhere and in everyone without petty man-made divisions. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

Just like the flower, let us completely surrender at Your Lotus Feet with open hearts. When we all are one Datta family, no other identification through name, fame, caste etc is necessary. We are all Your children..lets all enjoy the bliss and warmth of our Mother’s (Appaji’s) lap which is equally open to all of us.
Complete surrender is the only way to attain detachment with “I” and ego. May lord bless us all to give us the mind and strength to surrender our merits, deeds and thoughts to almighty.
