Green is good for our eyes. Green is good for our stomachs. Green is good to wear. Green means ‘Go ahead’. Green signals progress. Green is everything positive. Fill your surroundings with real green plants and trees. Plants breathe. Trees are silent witnesses of all that goes on. Trees have souls. They grow. They give. They nurture and nourish. I love trees. Appaji, I pray that your immense love for everything living and green should become contagious and the whole world should remain lush and green with wonderful vegetation. Perhaps birds and animals are doing more to propagate vegetation than humans are. Humans seem more intent on felling trees than planting them. It is time that we stop taking off Mother’s Earth’s lovely green garments and become alert, aware, and proactive in protecting the delicate and rich green robes of our loving and caring Earth Mother. We all need trees and wonderful nature to live. The tree before my window looks like Lord Rama with Lakshmana and Lord Hanuman. It stands there so upright and humble at the same time. So nice to look at it! It gives shadow, reduces CO2, enhances humidity, and gives us a wonderful sight.
