Education : Gurudeva, You have said it very well. Education gives us the ability to be of service to others. Engineers, doctors, lawyers, masons, carpenters, painters.. whatever be ones walk of life, the more he gets educated, the greater his ability to create value for his society. When people pursue education, they pursue Saraswathi; and they find Lakshmi also coming after them. When society sees value in their work, it is willing to pay them any price for that benefit. Education is the only ornament that no one can steal from us. This is the only ornament that also multiplies as we share it with others. Thank you Sadguru for alerting us to this eternal truth! All works are works of God – chanting mantras, doing house hold work like cleaning utensils/washing clothes/sweeping floors, meditation etc. When we perform every work with this attitude and surrender the results to God we can help elevate ourselves.
