The purpose of education is to become more refined. It is to become more humble, it is to become more considerate. Education should make you confident while also humbling you through the knowledge that there is too much that is still barely known. For a frog in a well, the well is its universe – its vision is myopic and so is its view of the world. The more the mind learns and explores, the more it realizes the infinite and unfathomable wonders of the Master. As a result, it is fair to say that education makes us realize that all of us are more or less the same, as what is unknown infinitely outweighs what is known, collectively or individually. The more we realize that we are more similar than dissimilar, the more human we become because we see the insignificance of the discriminatory artificial barriers that separate us. This in essence is education.
