Shravana Sukravara Happy Pranams at the lotus feet of Ïchha Shakti Gnana Shakthi Kriya Shakthi Swaroopa Sadgurudeva _/\_!!
SGS,Heart to Heart, Divine Life Society Trinidad, March 9, 1990:
Worship is of at most importance in our life. Because pooja means friendship, and understanding the relation between God and our soul.
Follow the Master – Devotion to Duty:.
Work is worship. Man’s work is God’s work. Man is only an instrument of God. Hence he should act as directed by his inner consciousness, not caring for either blame or praise, action brings wealth. It brings peace, contentment and the blessed state. Devotion to duty is needed for success in all our endeavors.
Bhaktimala, June 1997:
Deho devālayah prokto jīvo dehah sanātanah
Tyajedajñāna nirmālyam soham bhāvena pūjayet.
The human body itself is a temple; the jivatma living in it is the deity. Ignorance is the dirt, which collects everyday in the temple. This should be removed. When ignorance is removed, it will be possible to realize that the universal consciousness itself is reflecting in me. This is the ‘Soham’ experience. This is the real worship.
SGS, Austria, Aug 25,95:
It is very difficult to bring a Sadguru into your life. If He comes, maintain Him. You must treat Him with love and fear, with love and respect, with love and devotion. Not only devotion, it must be a devotion out of love. In the end of worshiping, you must ask Swamiji for forgiveness: “In case I have hurt you, please forgive me.” Your devotion must be out of love, no mental cracky devotion. And NO ‘Oh, Swamiji, Everything is up to you; Swamiji Swamiji, Swamiji, everything, everything.’ That is not good.
Jnaana Saagar:
One must worship God with a selfless attitude. God decides which is beneficial to anyone. Contented life alone makes a man happy and peaceful.
Sachchidananda Niti Mala:
Surrendering all fruits of action to God means that all actions should be done without anticipating any personal gain. Such a work becomes worship and helps one develop devotion and the realization of God.
-People who vilify idol worship are ignorant of the truth. They are like people who lack the knowledge of a language and to whom all utterances in that language appear as mere sounds signifying nothing.
SGS,Day 7 of Navaraatri 2010:.
If your speech is sweet, you will win this world. Please make it a habit of only speaking the truth. That itself is worship of Mother Saraswati. Your speech should be like a string of pearls and not hot chillies. You should smile.
God Word I :
A pure devotee alone visualizes that of everything. His actions, his feelings and his soul, is Gurudeva alone. His identity gets completely merged with Guru eventually. Indeed, a true devotee is able to offer hisadoration and worship to Guru in viraadroop, the cosmic form.
SGS in Surat Ashrama, Nov 3, 2002:
“After Puja we get tears of happiness. Tears of happiness are not salty but sweet. Tear of unhappiness or disappointment are salty. In temple, the priest decorate the image and offers worship. The priest considers that the idol is his baby and he has to care for it safely. We have to develop a personal relationship with God. Then we will get great relief and feel that a great deal of weight has been removed from our shoulders. It is a great relief. Instill faith in your worship. Don’t make it a mechanical activity.”
“God’s worship should be done heart fully and joyfully”.- When we can be so happy with the transient unreal, why shouldn’t we be manifolds happy when engaged with the permanent truth?. It is unbelievable that despite knowing the above, how far I get from the truth. Please keep me close to You, Sadgurudeva – I implore You!!
