You want us to meditate on these metaphors & their import.. much like what Datta did himself
Many expressions of life.. all reflections of the one supreme Datta. When we realize this truth, it shines through whatever we see.. much like how chocolates always seem to pop up in front of children, because their minds are full of them

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji. a very appropriate message on the eve of Datta Jayanti and during the celebrations. Datta, as Appaji said many times – the word itself means ‘one who gave Himself away’. This is for the devotees who think of Him – ‘THINK’ is the key. Even in Datta stava we have “smarturugaami” – Datta, as is Appaji, happy by a mere smarana – thinking of Him. that thinking has to happen with the heart and soul so that it reaches Lord Datta. I am sure many of us had this divine experience of Datta Darshan…Thanks a lot Appaji
Appaji has given a nice MMS today on the auspicious Datta jayanthy festival . The photography and the Appaji’s Bhajan are very apt for this MSG. This is because in Thereta yuga Lord Sri Rama was ruling , in Dwapara yuga Lord Krishna was ruling and in this kaiyuga Lord Datta is ruling us in the form of our Sadgurudeva Sri Ganapathy sachchidananda Swamiji. Puttuji you have also given a nice explanation. The mind is responsible for everything in our life. In this kaiyuga people are more interested in worldly pleasures only and accordingly their mind is filled with such kinds. But remember that it is only temporary. Therefore instead of that we should fill our mind with noble thoughts which is only permanent . But to fill like that, we have to develop our spiritual path through our Sadguru. For this purpose we have to follow His words and teachings regularly and continue till our life. Then our life will be safe in all respects and naturally we can visualise Datta in our heart and He will appear before us in the form of our Sadgurudeva . JGD.

This MMS is so beautiful. It starts like the day with the rising Surya and ends with full Chandra. When i look out of my window, i see the nearly full moon shining in. He looks so silent and yet He is witness of all what is happening on earth. Similar i imagine Lord Dattatreya. When i see Sri Swamiji or hear His melodious voice singing, i feel the deep love of Lord Dattatreya in my heart.

Happy Dattajayanti! Today I was traveling to a funeral. Because this was an unexpected death, I was preoccupied and forgot to say Happy Birthday to Datta before I left the house early for the airport. I was reading Datta Darshanam, but was so tired I fell asleep on the plane. I dreamt that I was in a new town with a new Swamiji Center. I was walking to this new center when a very old bent over old man approached me and asked in which place could he find Swamiji.. I started to give directions, but woke up realizing it was Datta….So grateful for this grace and this message today!
