Dearest Kshipra Ganapathi,
You’re the embodiment of speed (kshipra). Your very thought bestows knowledge.. so benevolent you are. You bestowed us humans with the power of discrimination.. for us to make wise choices towards realizing our potential. To make it easier, you’ve incarnated as our Sathguru, so that we’ve a role model to follow. Yet, we suffer!
Children don’t ignore ice cream. Mothers don’t ignore their new born. We just can’t ignore someone or something we identify ourselves with.
We suffer because we choose to identify with & are carried away by, our lower nature. So, we’re blind to our higher nature, with our eyes open. We can’t say we are ignorant of the consequences, because we’re now on MMS 298.. Just two short of 300!
So, we humbly seek your blessings to always be in devotion (bhakti) to our Sathguru’s mission. In being so, we’ll invoke our higher nature, realize our true potential, and end our suffering.

Jaya Guru Datta! In the past Swamiji you have taught us to look at our attachments when we are suffering, and this has been a good lesson for me. When I am feeling pain I have learned to ask to what idea, person, situation, belief, etc. it is to which I am attached, and instead of thinking something “should” be a certain way to begin to deal with it as it is. Now you are reminding us that ignorance also causes suffering. So few have anyone to inform them that there is true bliss inside them that is their natural immortal state and that the pleasures and pains of the outside world are only ephemeral illusions that will fade away. Thank you for showing us there is more and that by surrender and practice, we can become happier and more peaceful than our small ignorant minds believe. Sri Guru Datta!
Jai Guru Datta, Appaji…If it weren’t for my Sadguru…I would not be standing!!!…He crushes my ego, my ignorance, gives me knowledge daily through MMS, sends His Blessings through strength to help me through my karmas gracefully, shows His great compassion toward me, and loves me unconditionally…not to mention His constant protection not only for me, but for my family, and friends as well…He is Aha Oho…my closest relative, my teacher, my Lord and Master, my Guru, my God…He only speaks truth…my sufferings are due to my ignorance…my ignorance diminishes daily because of my Sadguru…humble pranams to His Most Holy Lotus Feet…Sri Guru Datta…Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti!

MMS 298. బాధలన్నిటికీ మూలకారణం అజ్ఞానం. ఓం భక్త గణపతయే నమః – ఓం క్షిప్రగణపతయే నమః
Sadgurudeva, Not realizing in the first place, and when momentarily the realization comes by your grace, not holding on tight to it that all this is just an illusion, is the disease of ignorance that we are suffering from. You live amidst us and are blissfully free from this infection and are totally immune to it. That is why you are always radiating your divine smiles. We suffer our daily pains believing that we exist, that our world exists, our thoughts and actions exist, and their consequent results exist, that we are responsible, and that Man is responsible for much of what is going on. You have spelled out very clearly through these MMS that God runs this entire Creation, not Man. You have explained clearly that the duration between birth and death is one long dark night and what we believe is truly happening is only a myth, a fleeting dream with no substance to it at all. You have made it known to us that the Mind weaves this entire web of experiences out of itself and that there is nothing in existence outside of our own minds. You have assured us that you will take care of us, that you will lift us up out of this bottomless pit and raise us to the level of divinity, being our Sadguru, who is God Himself descended out of infinite compassion to our mundane human level, since you have the capacity to travel through all planes.

Jaya Guru Datta! The path to liberation is right in front of us, but the fog of maya is so strong, it keeps misleading us from that path. One of Swamiji’s bhajans beautifully explains this MMS: “Janmaniki moolamu korikalandi…” from Nava Bhakti Geetalu.
Loosely translating the first few lines: The cause for birth is desires, when desires don’t get fulfilled there’s suffering, this suffering causes diseases and the cycle of birth and death continues. The Arishadvargas or the six passions of the mind are like horses without reins, our anger and passions are ready to destroy us.
Ignorance is the root cause of desires. When a desire plagues our mind, questioning “Who is it that actually has this desire?” can help resolve some questions. However, the fog of maya tricks the mind to believe the desire is real. Where there is desire, there’s suffering. But, where there is Sathguru, the darkness of ignorance is removed with the light of knowledge. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

Ignorance is the root cause of all our sufferings, miseries and sorrows in the world. It is due to ignorance that we believe happiness exists outside us in the world. Ignorance gives rise to desires which in turn lead us to act in order to fulfil those desires. This wonderful ombination of Ignorance-Desire- Action (Avidyaa-Kaama- Karma) is called HRIDAYA GRANTHI (Knot of the heart) in our scriptures (Mundaka Upanishad). To cut this Granthi or knot we need the guidance and grace of Sathguru.!!
Wherever Dattavatara Sathguru is, there sufferings and sorrow cannot stay for long.

A nice teaching, Appaji has given through this MMS. The photography is very apt for this MSG, since Lord Ganapathy, Himself is so pious , so kind enough with out any pride. That is why He is known as kshipra Ganapathy also, giving us knowledge and blessing for more memory power. If such kind of qualities, we acquire the question of ignorance will disappear in our life. Hence here for us in this Kaliyuga , our Appaji is kshipra Ganapathy Himself. According to me even the root cause for the word Ignorance is due to our carelessness only in our life in every aspects. Therefore we should try to practice to avoid carelessness in our life which can be done only through the spiritual path.Once we develop the spiritual knowledge , basically we will learn, how to keep discipline , to control our mind etc. At the sametime to acquire the spiritual knowledge , we have to follow only through our Sadguru, Whose words and teachings to be followed strictly. The Bhajan on Lord Ganapathy is also very apt for this MSG. Thank You, Appaji to remind us timely and we follow You in all respects and try to be more alert in our life, especially in thi Kaliyuga .

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji – thanks a lot for the reinforcing message through this MMS. Yes, ignorance is the root cause of all miseries. But how to realize and get rid of that ignorance. How to know that we are thinking in a wrong way. Sadguru is the answer for all such questions. Sadguru Deva will lead us all to light from ignorance in a very subtle way that the soul getting processed too might not know in some cases. The heart-to-heart teaching that transforms the devotee is only to be experienced and not explained. Thanks a lot Appaji again!!!

Many years ago, in Mekedatu, Appaji addressed the devotees with this question, “What causes misery? Why do people behave foolishly?” After all the different answers were volunteered by the audience, Swamiji summed up the answer in one word, “Maya (illusion)”. What is illusion? Wrong understanding about who we really are, what this world is all about, and what the purpose of our existence on earth is. In these MMS videos Swamiji is dispelling our ignorance, this illusion, this wrong understanding, step by step, feeding us one tiny morsel at a time, nourishing us with His divine KNOWING. Absolutely true, i’m ignorant because i feel all sufferings are confined to me. Actually neither body is constant nor the surroundings, but the illusion that everything is permanent changes the whole scenario!! Knowledge about oneself alone can save us from this cycle of attachment and never ending sorrows. Only God in disguise of a perfect teacher will save us all from ignorance and sorrow with a permanent solution of “self-realisation”. May lord bless us all with bliss through true knowledge chopping the ever green tree called ignorance.
