    Journey towards liberation

Who can be a better guide to moksha than our sadguru? sadguru has clearly explained about the do’s and don’ts to be able  to attain moksha in this bhajan, Mumukshu Intihabekanna .. as rightly told by sadguru, it is difficult to have a guru ,then to keep the guru ,then to follow the guru , then comes the toughest part of practicing  the guru’s teachings… the plane is ready for  take off to fly us to our destination  , if we are hesitant to get on to it what can it do?

Originally recorded in Nada Sangama and then in Divya Keertane, this song Mumukshu intira bekanna is one of my favorite bhajans. Sri Swamiji’s voice is so soothing in this. A true spiritual practicant should always follow these instructions and try to be a mmukshu. Sadguru is showing the way with all different paths that lead to liberation. We just have to choose and follow. Jaya Guru Datta Appaji. Thank you.

Right parable that is easy to co-relate to get the concise of the saying. Appaji you are the right pilot who can help us to navigate for the coming centuries.

  2. Datta Guru is the authority of the spiritual journey!! How lucky are we to get His Holiness’s direct messages invoking us to be strong aspirants (Mumukshus)

    • vishnu on July 17, 2012 at 8:18 pm

This is really a good saying when comparing to our real life, like how we adhere to the daily things, we should follow the strict to rules to attain the devotional path. Thanks to Swamiji for the nice message.

    Jaya Guru Datta

In this mundane life busy with daily activities, we forget the main purpose of this life. Using simple example, Pujya Guru Deva in this video is telling us the purpose of this life.

    Sri Guru Datta

I try to make every day my practise and my work. There are times, which are not easy, but I try to make also then my work how I should do it. This structure give to my life a form, which is helping me to go step by step forwards. The steps are not big, but many little steps make also a way!

JGD! Does this mean that even though there might be many ways to reach liberation, there is a certain ‘checklist’ and certain requirements which have to be fulfilled? Is it that we need to follow dharma and have to fulfill artha (wealth) & kama (lust) all to full extent and then only can reach moksha? By the way, isn’t Appaji’s voice the most unique and beautiful one in the universe? Sri Guru Datta!

Jaya Guru Hanuman, Humble prostrations to the lotus feet of Swamiji…..Amazing information hidden behind this simple message… What are the things we do when travelling abroad

    a. Have passport
    b. Get visa
    c. pack our bags
    d. say good bye to everyone and be ready for the final journey

Here having a passport is getting this body, Getting visa means obtaining Guru’s grace, packing our bags is finishing all our karma by following the master’s teachings, say goodbye to everyone is knowing that the world will move on even if we are not there and reducing our attachments and being alert and ready……Jaya Guru Datta, Om namo hanumate namaha

Journey towards liberation, is the prime goal for all humans and, it is very difficult for the reason we are attached with our body, ‘myself’….. It requires strict regimen to be followed to undo the imprints in our mind that is being carried over for further half of the life. Yes, journey towards liberation requires lots of positive energy and may lord bless us all with energy and patience, to travel towards liberation.
