To all those procrastinators, you are being very direct.. in letting them know that this is a brief life.. and therefore it must be dedicated to great cause.
Krishna did that in his avatara. Vishnu illustrated this virtue in every avatara. You have lived this virtue in your avatara. In a brief span of seven decades you have achieved what many don’t do in many lifetimes. You have taken it upon yourself to pick and protect a few families across the world (few meaning a few million). In that resolve, we see your spoken Tamil get better with every successive MMS in Tamil. Such is your spirit of dedication & perseverance.

For me life is very long. I am happy when I am again a year older, because I find, that life is difficult. But I know: to work my problems need a lot of time. All is a process, I can’t change thing too quickli. Like this life is realy very short. For me it is important to fill my days with actions, which make a sense for my success. Otherwise I don’t see sense in my life, then it don’t give any sense to go through all the confusions.
Jaya Guru Datta, I am discovering more an more that time does quickly pass us and our beloved Swamiji helps us to make the most of our short lives. Thank You for all you help and support Swamiji in giving a direction and meaning to our lives. Sri Guru Datta.

Jaya Guru Datta! Sri Swamiji has given us so many great examples of who to serve the world and to do great things! We need only to look to His daily activities for inspiration. What is wonderful is that we, too, can engage in many of His sevas. We can play Shata Shloki Ramayana or His music in our homes, knowing full well that we are improving the environment around us. We can chant “Om Namo Hanumate Namaha” and know we are benefiting all living things, we can arrange satsangs and bring the healing benefits of his bhajans to others. We can give food, help the elderly or infirm. His examples are boundless, let us follow….

Jai Guru Datta! The only purpose to be in this life is our Sadgurudeva. The only great cause i can imagine is our Sadgurudeva: to think of Him, to chant His name, to serve Him, to follow Him. To adore Him, to love Him a little more every day – what else is there to do?.

What did I do until now? Have I been working for any great cause ? But, what is a great cause really? The first that comes to my mind is to help people in difficulty or in distress. Sincerely, I did not serve many such causes physically, being so much busy in my worldly life. At least I tried to give some material support.
But a great cause can be something completely different. In fact it is to serve God. To serve God is to serve the society by following one’s own dharma. The most important is that each of us finds out what great cause is the right one for her/him. This is only possible by being connected to the Almighty. That’s why I was not able to dedicate my life to a great cause in my past, having spent so many years of my life “disconnected”. But now, I am so fortunate to have been guided to you, my dear Sadguru! More and more, I am able to open my heart for you. That way I can follow your guidance and will be able to dedicate the rest of my life to better and better causes… May it be so! JGD

Appaji is prodding us to do our ‘Practicals’ in the Datta Spiritual University. In order to ‘graduate’, we need to demonstrate the application of all the knowledge and wisdom that Pujya Gurudeva is bestowing upon us – in getting involved in a Noble cause.
You have time and again inspired us to perform noble deeds towards noble causes. For example:
For those of us that said we cannot solve world hunger, you said Give up one meal a day and instead feed another on that day. It is a great initiative to initiate us into the Great Cause of solving World Hunger one day – as there is enough food/resources to go around.
His intention for us is not just to give up one meal a week and enjoy our hot/timely meals for the rest of the week… but to get us thinking on what else we can do to support the destitute and the needy.
We will certainly follow your lead and dedicate our lives to your noble Mission. Forever grateful. Sri Guru Datta!

It’s fact that life is very short because half of 24 hours is spent for self care like food, exercise, sleep. Remaining part of the day is with daily activity related to study in student life or work as employer/ employe. There is very little time left out of this social life. If we want to make our life meaningful, one has to perform good deeds and one should dedicate one’s life for self betterment. May Lord bless us all to have the interest and intensions to dedicate our life for great cause.

I try to live a good live. I´m dedicated to Sri Swamiji, Yoga, music and my wife. I´m glad about these opportunities and I wish I could be more whole hearted about this. It´s hard to always focus on the light. So many shadows are crooping up from inside and distract my mind. But as I recently discovered: I create this myself. So if I create this, though unwillingly or uncounsciosly, there´s something in me that wants to create that. I humbly request Sri Swamiji – please help me to understand more about this. Help me to become a better human, a stronger and more committed person, help me to become a master of myself.

Puttuji as you said here, yesterda’s MMS 203 is more or less connecting to today’s MMS also. In otherwords yesterday Appaji was saying for success in our life continuous effort is needed. But weshould notpostpone it since in today’s MMS, He says life is short so do it quickly . At the sametime to do good deeds or things, we have to follow through the spiritual path also for which we need a Master/ Sadguru. Here again I can say how a teacher is taking the responsibility to build up the carrier of a student, similarly we need our Sdaguru to develop our spiritual path also. Here I remember Appaji’s words saying that in this kaiyuga so many people will think they can follow a Sadguruto do good deeds or dedicate to a great cause after their retirement from the job or business what ever may be. But for such people Appaji is asking what is the guarantee that we will live up to that period. This is because nothing is in our hand. Therefore Appaji is reminding here that we should develop our spiritual path also from our early part of our life in which case our mind will also get diverted to dedicate to great cause or things. If we go through GuruGeetha , we can realise the importance of our Sadguru. Hence Appaji we got your concept and follow you and obey your instructions from time to time. To my experience after going through every day’s MMS, It gives a good knowledge and experience. That will also help us to dedicate to great cause. JGD.

TV లో 2012 యుగాంతం సినిమా చూస్తున్నాము. మీ ఆశీస్సులతో యుగాంతం అనే స్థితి ప్రస్తుతం రానప్పటికీ నేటి MMS నన్ను ఆలోచనలలో పడవేసింది.అవలోకనం చేసికొని చూస్తె చేసిన గొప్ప పని ఏది పెద్దగా కనిపించదు. ఎంతసేపూ ఉద్యోగం ,పిల్లలు, చదువులు,లోన్లు …ఇలాంటివి ప్రముఖంగా కనిపించాయి. వీటిలో పడి కొట్టుకు పోతున్న మాతోకూడా మీరు పరోక్షంగా కొన్ని మంచి పనులు చేయించారు అప్పాజీ.రోజుకు కేవలం ఐదు రూపాయల సమర్పణతో , దత్తసేవ రూపంలో మీరు చేసే సమాజసేవలో పాలు పంచుకునే భాగ్యం మాకు కల్పించారు.వివధ సందర్భాలలో అన్నదానసేవకు మమ్ములను ఉత్సాహపరిచారు.అమ్మవోడి,మూగ చెవిటి పిల్లలకు స్కూళ్ళు,bonsayi మొక్కల పెంపకం,వేదాధ్యయనం, ISERVE, ….ఇలా ఎన్నిటినోనెలకొల్పి ,బహు మార్గాలలో సేవ చేసే అవకాశాన్ని మాకు కల్పించి మా జీవితాలకు కూడా ఒక అర్ధం కల్పించారు.ప్రణామాలు స్వామీజీ. జయగురుదత్త
