Birds are vital to our survival. The preservation and protection of birds is the responsibility of every human being. I urge each and everyone to plant trees, place bird feeders, nest boxes and bird baths in their yards and balconies. An awareness of the dwindling number of bird species should be spread far and wide in our communities.
