Kith and kin may desert you in disease and poverty.
Guru never does.

Virtues are the real riches.

Your good virtues are your protection.

Shoshanam paapa pankasya’ and ‘Deepanam jnaana tejasaha’- Drying up our Sins as a result of Lighting up Divine Knowledge within us. He is called, ‘Taapa prashamana’- one who destroys miseries. I offer prostrations to the Lord who manifests the moment I remember Him.
Lord Dattatreya removes all the miseries. Hence He is called ‘Sarva peedaa nivaarana’.
We should remember Lord Dattatreya. Since He manifests the moment He is thought of, being ‘Smartrgaamee’, He will at once lift us up out of our troubles.
May Dattavatara Sadgurudeva protect us!!
