Keeping good thoughts, good people, and good deeds as one’s friends is good company (Satsang). Jaya Guru Datta – Good thoughts are wonderful company. Often uninvited, unpleasant thoughts of confusion, anxiety, impatience, and sadness creep in. Replacing them at once with captivating stories about Sadguru has been a good solution for me. Good people are wonderful company. For an unknown reason, some persons transfer negative vibrations by their mere presence. For me, it is best to leave the premises at such times and physically go elsewhere if it is possible. Seeking Sadguru’s company at such times within my own heart is the best solution because the outside world does not always offer the company of pure souls. Good occupation is simply lovely. It keeps the mind busy, alert, and out of trouble. For me, good occupation is that where what I do is of help to others and is conducive to producing peace within my own heart. Developing and sharing useful knowledge, sharing healthy food, and tidying up surroundings are activities that I find appealing and helpful both to me and to others. I pray to Sadgurudeva to always provide me with good companionship with the above as long as I live. Sri Guru Datta
