Humble prostrations at the lotus feet of Our Dattaswaropa Sathgurudeva _/\_!!

The tree is being a tree. We take things from it and benefit. The tree has no power to deliberately harm us when we selfishly give it pain.The Sun is being the sun. We enjoy his light and warmth and the life-giving nature of both. When we abuse the heat of the sun, eg. to punish someone by making him stand or work under the scorching rays, the Sun does not intervene, and is indifferent. We do not know that the Tree and the Sun are intentionally serving Man selflessly. But when Appaji is telling us that service to man without expectation is service to God, I understand that he is hinting that we should develop a certain attitude of doing good intentionally, deliberately, without expecting a return. That is different from our being just us, selfish to the core. By my remaining naturally selfish, I am not achieving the purpose of my life of serving God. This disinterest in the fruits of my actions needs to be learned by observing the attitude and actions of our Sadgurudeva Sri Swamiji who is intentionally, selflessly serving all. Jaya Guru Datta

Jaya Guru Datta! A doubt arises: is there no differentiation between, for example, doing seva to Sadgurudeva and on the other hand, to some people? Or is serving whoever with love and without any expectations identical with serving Sadguru so that there actually is no contradiction? Another question: is service to God automatically defined as serving without expectations? How then is it called when I do something and somewhere in my mind expect soem reward from God? Then I’m not sure if I have ever truly achieved that. But, I give my sankalpa that I will strive hard for that with Your blessings, Appaji! Sri Guru Datta!

Jaya Guru Datta. The more I think about this MMS the more I realize that I have so many expectations and this causes hurt when these expectations are not met. It is selfishness really. Ego. Please take these things from me and let me serve all out of pure love for Mother Swamiji. Sri Guru Datta.

By seeing today’s MMS, Appaji is again reminding us about the concept of follow the Dharma. That is the basic principle of cosmos. In otherwords , doing what is good for humanity. The photography is very apt for this MSG. Puttuji as you explained here, in Mother’s creation in nature, the trees and plants are giving, giving by way of shelter, fruits and flowers etc, with out expecting anything in return from us. Similarly the Sun is doing , His duty promptly by giving light and spreading shining to the entire earth with out expecting anything in return from us. If the Sun is not giving like that, we will be completely in dark and life will be miserable . If we go through the book, Datta Darsan , then we can realize this fact. From this we should learn in Mother’s creation in nature , how the Sun is giving such a selfless service to humanbeing and even if anybody think to reimburse for the service the Sun is giving to us , who can afford to do it , which means it is beyond anybody’s limit. Similarly according to me now Appaji is reminding us that in this Kaliyuga , we should follow Dharma and protect it also, in which case Dharma will protect us also . Here I recollect The MMS12 and 49 which also related to today’ MMS 335. Similarly as per MMS 64 the animate and inanimate are in the hands of God,and thereby as humanbeing it is our duty to do only good deeds and helping others wherever it is necessary and according to our capacity. Thank You , Appaji to remind us again the importance of follow Dharma and through Your words and teachings in the spiritual path we will definitely stick on that.( Dharma) JGD.
