Friends care for us. They tell us what is right for us, not what we want to hear. With friends, we can be ourselves. Friends share our happiness & our sorrows.. and they don’t expect anything in return. That’s what makes friends special. But then, not all friendships are forever.. except the friendship you have with yourself.
People who find peace within themselves, are best friends with their inner voice.. because they follow their Dharma. Such people fill their insides with so much peace that nothing disturbs them.
Those heavenly planets and satellites are all in equilibrium because they are at peace with themselves.

Jai Guru Datta Appaji – This entire world is an extension of ourself. When we realize that we are a part of this Universal Family (Vasudeva Kutumbakam), there is no concept of enemies.
When Attachment and the ‘poison of possession’ (MMS 226) enters the mind, the concept of ‘I and mine’ will start dividing the external world into ‘friends’ and ‘enemies’ – based on who supports ‘our’ interests and otherwise respectively.
For one who has the SadhGuru firmly instilled in their hearts, attachment is easily conquered as the pure/unconditional LOVE radiates from within to every being we interact with… and the resulting experience is everlasting peace and Bliss!

when somebody does me wrong I think I have the right to get angry at that person. But what I actually do is, I banish love and peace from my heart and thus I loose the connection with god. Even when it appears right to blame the other I still have the choice between peace in my heart and no peace in my heart. When I decide for peace – there´s indeed no enemie. Please bless us Sri Swamiji, so that we have the strength and the awareness to make the right choice.

Jaya Guru Datta! One is at peace within his heart when his happiness is not dependent on any external factors or people. Such happiness stems from within him and comes from acceptance of this world, this creation and an awareness that a higher force is present in his life at all moments. This brings the realization that all favorable or unfavorable events are learning experiences that the higher force is blessing us with and there are no external enemies. The enemies to be conquered are within us. And with the grace of Sathguru, these inner enemies are slowly conquered. Truly, someone with peace within the heart can have no enemies. Someone with peace within the heart can have no sorrow, because sorrow is an illusion of the external world that cannot affect such an individual. As it was stated in MMS 62: “The animate and the inanimate are part and parcel of God.” When we concentrate on Sri Swamiji in our heart we feel a wonderful peace which is so nice in every aspect.

In today’s MMS, Appaji has given the importance for peace which is very much needed in this kaiyuga. This is because in today’s busy world, you can get or buy anything you want as the technology has also developed in such a way. At the same time you cannot buy or get peace. This you can obtain only by following through the Spiritual path. This concept we should realize and have to accept. Then the next point is to follow the spiritual path , we need a Master and that is our Sri Ganapathy sachchidananda Swamiji who is the incarnation of Lord Datta himself in this kaiyuga . Here I remember Appaji’s words saying that to get our Swamiji is so difficult , since He is running throught out the world to protect his devotees as well as for the growth of spirituals knowledge and path. Therefore it is up to us to follow Him in the proper way , because the Time will not wait for us. In today’s world people are busy to earn more and more Money, Fame, Power, position etc. But finally after getting these things, at one time will say that they are not getting any peace of mind and health problem and also getting enemies with in their filed and from surroundings. To my experience even some people have told me about these problems. That is why we have to follow the spiritual path also, sothat we can overcome these difficulties . Hence according to me we are so fortunate to get our Sadguru in this janma and our life. Ourduty is to follow His words and teachings strictly. Even when we go to Ashrama frequently, it gives good energy and Appaji’s Dharsan and one Smiling is enough to forget all our worries and to get peace of mind in our heart and we train to store the same so that there is no need to worry about enemies . Appaji is our true friend and savoiur. All other friendships are evanescent. The care, love, and friendship of Sadgurudeva is eternal. He is our only friend, guide, and philosopher and He is always taking us on the righteous path and correcting us at the opportune time to make us better individuals. By following Sadgurudeva we start to find our inner peace and upon finding it are able to see the world around us in a friendly manner with love and compassion. We are eternally indebted to Appaji for teaching and inculcating in us moral and ethical conduct.

These days, I sometimes notice a part in me which favours to punish wicked people in wars or armed conflicts. Then I have to remind me that I should love all outside and inside of me. Based on Appaji’s Nandana MMS teachings.. Inner peace can be achieved by removing the inner enemies. Our mind is a projection of the world. Whatever we feel inside we project outside. So everything is inside us and within us. We can eradicate our inner enemies and find inner peace just by listening to His music…it is an automatic transformation.
