Think before you talk : Whenever I count one to ten before I talk, I observe I keep quiet. And this has saved me from many embarrassing situations. When a gunman shoots just becoz he has a gun, he inflicts tremendous damage to society and to himself. He acts in haste, and repents in leisure, in a prison. Similarly, just because I can shoot off my mouth, if I speak without thinking, I know am also like that gunman. So, I don’t want to act in haste and repent in leisure. My Lord ! I will never say anything that will make me put my head down. For, all of my actions are a result of your will.. and I will never do anything that will let you down. JGD! your PuttuGam..

JGDD Appaji…thank You for all of the gentle reminders about our thoughts, which become our words, and our words which turn into actions, and our actions which become our habits, and our habits which become our characters, and our characters which become our destinies…may we fill our minds with sweet thoughts of You, and send those thoughts to the heavens… to settle in our atmosphere for eons…SGDD
Word spoken can never be altered or taken back. Fascinating message to be followed by all of us because a small thought process will identify our intended talk to be wrong so that we don’t hurt anyone intentionally. May lord bless all of us the patience to keep our emotions aside, think and then talk.
jgd Swami Ji actually silence is golden it must be practiced, at the same time for some explanations we must think and then utter the words; it is said in Punjabi that a word spoken by this tongue can make you rule the kingdom or beg on the road , may Your children be alert to think and talk, thank You very much Master onhn sgd
Jaya Guru Datta! How many times have we wished we didn’t say what we said?! How many times have we wished we articulated something better?! Thank You, Swamiji, for this wonderful message. Thinking before we speak benefits not only us, but the people around us. It avoids misunderstandings and unnecessary conflicts and gives us more credibility. It is often said that we should never write letters when we are angry and never promise anything when we are happy. I guess it is always a good idea to think before we speak whether we are angry, or are very happy or in every state of mind in between.
Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!
