Seeds must be sown when the wind blows. Then those seeds need the right nourishment from land, water, air & sunlight, if they have to grow into a crop that is ready for harvest.
It calls for a caring farmer who will keep the field free from pests and ensure adequate nourishment. He has to work really hard in the field, and at the right time, if he has to get a bountiful harvest. This is the Law of the Farm. No pain, no gain. No shortcuts. Mother Nature is as ruthless, as she is benevolent.

Thanks a million for reminding us that the Law of the Farm applies in our daily life too. And, when we see you engaged in following the Law of the Farm, we know we are no exception. We appreciate that wealth can only be harvested from hard work. There is no other sustainable way. So, we will follow your advise, and ensure we work hard today to reap its fruits tomorrow.

Jaya Guru Datta! Swamiji, I remember during that first week with you in 1988 in Kriya Yoga class you gave an afternoon lecture in which you told us that as we practiced Kriya Yoga in one lifetime, nothing would be lost and that what we gained now would be carried over to our future births where we would once again be given a chance to practice, regain our previous skills and grow again from that point. This was a good lesson, like today, that no good effort is ever a waste. Sri Guru Datta!

Jaya Guru Datta! I love you Mother Swamiji. I have been feeling overwhelmed with the work of raising these two children basically alone since my husband works so much and has been traveling most of the week regularly. This is a good reminder for both me and my husband. Besides I know that as hard as we work, it is nothing compared to You and those who serve You as You travel the world helping all of us and doing things most of us will never even know about. For me, true wealth is to be able to serve my beloved Satguru so let me remember that when I care for these children “of mine” that they are actually yours. This will make even the most mundane task of scrubbing the floors or changing diapers into something wonderful. Let me also remember and appreciate my husband more since he is very hard working and that is a good quality that is a gift from God. Please bless him to understand what true wealth means. This is good advice not only for the practical, material side of life but also for our spiritual development. Sometimes in my Sadhana it seems that for all my hard effort,very little progress is happening. Yet I keep practicing and then eventually I reap the reward of being closer to God and Guru who is one and the same. That reward may be a feeling of bliss, a dream, visoin , or a cleaner more peaceful mind and it means everything to me. Totally worth the effort! Sadgurudeva has asked us to climb the tree of spirituality and he is always helping us, we just have to put in the effort. Jaya Guru Datta. Om namo Hanumate namaha.
JGD. I always remember Swamiji’s explanation of Dharma , Artha, Kama and Moksha. Here our Master has repackaged it again and I will willingly buy it. JGD.
Jaya Guru Datta Appaji – as always, Appaji is showing us with an example and leading from the front. We reap what is sown – of course today’s sowing is for tomorrow’s harvest – but this MMS has a very deep and heavy meaning that we have to sow the good to reap the good. As it is very appropriately said in the message – the wealth can be positive wealth of good qualities, good offspring, ourselves being good citizens worth the grace of Sadguru et al – we dont have to speak about the ill things!

Jaya Guru Datta! People that work hard stay healthy and keep their mind active. There is really no short cut to success. Even though Swamiji is Nada Brahma and music is born from Him, Swamiji used to practice music for countless hours locking Himself up in a room, sometimes just playing a single note. That instance alone from Sri Swamiji’s Life History proves that Swamiji believes in and advocates hard work.
Hard work today in the form of discipline, restraint and prayer will reap us rich rewards in the form of Guru’s grace and knowledge. MMS #265 said that the wise should earn wealth and knowledge as if they never age or die. Today I can see that, that MMS was not asking us not to work hard, but in fact to work hard and share our hard earned wealth but not dedicate our life to earning wealth.
Today, I received validation that hard work can take me where I want – spiritually, professionally etc. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

What a beautiful lesson , Appaji has given through today’s MMS. Here I remember Appaji’s words saying that Duty is worship. Similarly His another MSG saying that Douing your duty is more important than worring about what others think. From these messages, we can realize, how much importance Appaji is giving for carring out work, what ever may be sincerely and how to work hard in order to come up in our life. The photography is very apt to this MSG, since Appaji Himself shows, how a farmer is working very hard in the field and ready for harvest. Therefore it is a lesson for us also that what ever may be our nature of work, we should work very hard like the farmer which will earn wealth for our future. Here I have got my own experience, and at one stage , asked Appaji when can I retire from my business for which the answer was very simple saying that you have to work till I say. Here according to Appaji age is not a criteria and have work till you have got a good health for which we have follow His words and teachings and seek the blessings. If we do like that we can earn wealth which can be used for good cause also. Here we should remember at this age of 71 , our Appaji is working very hard for the development of spiritual path for our benefit which everybody knows. Therefore it is a lesson for us also when Aappaji is working like this it is our duty also when we follow Him and do our work hard . Thank You Appaji to give us such a wonderful MSG and we follow You. JGD.
