When the Lord said :
paritranaya–for the deliverance; sadhunam–of the devotees; vinasaya–for the annihilation; ca–also; duskrtam–of the miscreants; dharma–principles of religion; samsthapana-arthaya–to reestablish; sambhavami–I do appear; yuge–millennium; yuge–after millennium
He meant not just : once in a millennium, or in outer material world. He meant every time, every where
because, evil in the outside, is only a manifestation of evil inside
So, the Lord appears, to destroy the evil EGO { Edges God Out} in our dark insides. That evil distances one from His own true divine nature
When the evil in the outer world is destroyed, that world feels like heaven. When the EGO – evil – inside is destroyed, the inner world feels like heaven. And the resident of that inner world feels one with the Lord!

I would like to come closer and closer with Swamiji. For meHe is God. Because I have this strong desire, I can always look for me, what is more important for me: to fill a desire or to do only my work, which is work in the love to Swamiji. Then I know, what I have to do. Like this I can work on my ego and hope, that – one day – I am very near to Swamiji and/or to God.

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji – wonderful video and a great message. The visual of Datta Jayanthi Kagadaarati reminds the most serene environment which by mere presence will lead one to meditative state. The sookti also reminds me of a tale Appaji uses in the discourse as to – when a disciple asks his guru when he would get liberation the guru responds with ‘when i die(s)’, the disciple religiously waits for the day of death of that guru whereas what was meant was the death of ‘I’ – the ‘I’ ness. That death of ‘I’, the ego will certainly merge us with our God – Jayaho
Only difference between all living beings and God is the limitation of living beings to “I”. We are limiting ourselves to body as ‘me’ and ‘mine’ as a result of which duality is manifested. If we are conscious about the real truth, that we are not limited to our body as it is perishable and we are beyond it, we will surely with God’s grace be freed from ego and merge with God. May lord bless us all to purge our ego and merge with HIM.

Swamiji’s bhajan “Unnadi okade Shivudegaa…Shivude, Shivude, Shivudega” says that all that exists is Lord Shiva. But, our attachment to this body and the related associations that the mind makes based on that premise (that I am the body) shows me a world full of materialistic desires and tendencies. The pride of doership, the subsequent pleasure or disappointment from doing are all related to the ego. How can I always remember that this body is a temporary shell for this soul, the jeevatma? Why do I forget that I am “Archana” only for transactional purposes in this world. The shell or the body is a tool for the soul to reach its destination, the Paramatma. Why is the ego so overpowering that it even manifests itself when a stranger cuts us off while we drive. The mind is at the center of this. Garbage in, garbage out. The mind is supposed to be my tool, but it is often my master, instead. So grateful to have a Sathguru to show me the truth. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

What a beautiful lesson , Appaji has given through this MMS today. According to me The word ( EGO) is a kind of poison, which spoils the carrier or life of a person slowly . In God’s creation according to our growth, simultaneously our ego will also grow. When ever we use the Word (I ) , which itself is the root cause for our ego. Therefore to get rid of this ego, the only way is to follow the spiritual path from the early part of our life (That is from our young age itself) under the guide lines of a Sadguru. Here if you see , How a Teacher is taking the responsibility to build up the carrier of a student, similarly our Sadguru , through His words and teachings will reduce our ego. But it is our duty to follow the same in the right way/ spirit. Here I even remember , Appaji’s words saying that when you pray to God always request Him to reduce or take away your ego as well as to give the balance of mind to face anything in our life since life means it is with both good and bad karmas. The rest He will take care of and that confidence we have to build up in our life. But in this Kaliyuga , we can follow this concept only through the teachings of our Sadguru. The photography is apt for this MSG since how Madhusudhana destroyed the Demon Madhu , similarly our Appaji will destroy our ego provided we follow Him. The Bhajan Jaya jaya Vani is also apt for this MSG since Goddess Saraswathy gives us knowledge which we should use inthe proper way sothat we can reduce our ego. JGD.
Man should accept whatever happens in life as the will of God and maintain his balance of mind.Poise enables him to remain undistrubed by the consequences of his acts. Educational qualifications, wealth, caste, beauty, comparison,frustration due to non-fulfillment of desires, power that comes from position and designation, the ego emanates from all these. Detachment is recognised as a great necessary virtue ( which is rather difficult to put in practise by us ) to dilute the ego. Obeisances to Sriswamiji for the awakening MMS. At the very beginning of my association with our Sadgurudeva about 25 years ago, Sri Swamiji sang with His soul touching ecstatic voice to Mother Godess ” merge you, merge you, merge… …..” With tears in the eyes i was thinking: that is what i want “merge”.This desire is deep seated and the driving force. In the MMS, Lord Dattatreya and Appaji have the same Divinity in them..both are exact same, even though one is divinity static and the other in motion. Once we leave our egos, we can see the same divinity in all creation. Appaji, I know we make so many mistakes because of our ego, and we are very slow learners. Thanks for Your immense patience with us Appaji! With Your divine presence we will one day Edge Ego Out in one of our janmas.
