Jaya Guru Datta, Swamiji! I love Puttugam’s message about how a mother comforts her child after a bad dream and his reminder that this reality is also dream. For so many, the joy of life is destroyed by bad memories, anxieties and fears, when in reality we are safe in your love and protection. Still, we hold onto memories and images from the past. How wise this advice is and how much it would help those who suffer emotionally to remember that those troubling thoughts can be dismissed just as one would dismiss dream images. Sri Guru Datta!

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji! Illusions all the way. Dreams occur even when we are still brain-conscious. Illusions surrounding us are also what we see/hear in a state of consciousness. It is this state that we hold I, Me, Mine, Myself. Sleep is on the other hand, is a state of unconsciousnes, s state of samadhi. When mind is unconscious, there is nothing that is I, Me, Mine, Myself. We need to develop this state of unison with nature, with HIM, to be able to get beyond illusions. Bless us Datta to be able to develop ourselves with lot of help from our Sadguru. Let the sunrays awaken us from deep within, everyday. JGD SGD!!

JGD, the onliest part of the dream that remains real is the part that moves with Sadguru’s will. SGD

    • on October 14, 2012 at 10:04 am

Helps us so that these passing dark clouds of illusions get blown away and what we see is one bright light!! Reminds me of Surya Kavacham and I can visualize a resplendent Appaji performing rituals to Sun God on ratha sapthami, I had a chance to witness it in Ganugapuram and it was so full of energy. Love you Appaji!. Pranams to your lotus feet, you are my bright light!!

JGD.Many Times Sadguru says what we are physically experiencing is MAYA.This is the Veil that Lord Throws over us.The Dreams of ours then are the offshoots of the same Maya.SLEEP itself is MAYA of the creator.A living being active for Hours, running, jumping, weeping, laughing suddenly closes the eyes and is oblivious of the world around, and also wakes up suddenly. This itself is dreamy.

  1. JGD.Swapnaavasta,a status of working mind while the sensory organs are at rest. Here the thoughts are recollected in a mixed way with illusionary visuals, nurtured by visionary nerves. This disappears as soon as the sensory organs started wopking. Sometimes a part remains in memory for recalling. So also the world and its association with the jeeva,as pointedout by Our APPAJI.SGD.

Just as the dreams during my sleeping are unreal, I pray to wake up from this dream state while waking. It becomes clearer as the days go by, but that awakening..Liberation is what is worth striving for in this life. Thank you Swamiji for the tools that you gift us. Jaya Guru Datta

Jaya Guru Datta, Swamiji, whose dream are we dreaming yours or ours and are we dreaming together?

    • Archana Penukonda on October 14, 2012 at 3:22 pm

Jaya Guru Datta! In the ancient days, there was the Gurukul system where students lived and studied spirituality in the Ashram. Now, Swamiji is using contemporary technology to give us the lessons and wisdom we’d get in a Gurukul. Due to all the lessons, especially the MMS messages, I have a tug of war in my head when I make decisions because while old habits and expectations die hard, Swamiji has been schooling us in the reason for the human birth and how to make the best of it. This message greatly helps ease the turbulence in the mind that comes with the internal debate . Why worry about gaining or losing anything when all it is, is really a dream! When we wake up from our dreams, we just go back to what we believe is our real life. So, if we can treat this life and everything that’s associated with the body as a dream, we can go back to reality, the Brahman! What a beautiful, simple answer to all of life’s questions this message is! Obeisances to the Holy Lotus Feet!

  2. Jaya Guru Datta
    Dear Swami Avadhotta,
Please guide us to the way of truth…

    Jai Guru Datta !!

God is omnipresent God is everywhere
There is God in Sadguru, Lord Rama in our Appaji !!

In Appaji’s love and care we realize that this janma is a night’s dream. I cannot thank YOU enough for teaching me this. Lord Trivikrama Appaji, I will try hard to develop this vairagya and follow you, kindly destroy my ego and what is false in me. I will always take life as it comes knowing that it is only my devotion and faith in my God that will see me through this kaliyuga.
Sri Guru Datta Hanuman ki Jai !!Om Namo Hanumate Namaha !! Om Namo Hanumate Namaha !! Om Namo Hanumate Namaha !!

    • Joseph on October 14, 2012 at 10:01 pm

Oh, this message is for total detachment……. Generally the ambitions, desires and trying to fulfil them because, many a times we realise that ones life is most unpredictable! As we feel this is permanent we work hard to fulfil our ambitions, desires and earn property. This message is a thought provoking message to keep ourselves aware of the fact, there is supernatural power guiding and protecting us always and whatever we possess in life is gift by God. Splendid message to inculcate detachment with desires, health, wealth, ambitions and even the body. How wonderful would it be, if all of us can pray to God with a pure heart, help each other and earn only for the sake of living and not with greed!! Messages by Sri Swamiji are so simple, if all of us watching them can implement in our daily life, that would be an extraordinary achievement because I feel a good word from anyone can be accepted and implemented for self-betterment.

If this is a dream, with my most beautiful Sadgurudeva in it, enchanting with His smiles, songs, and sweet words, may the dream continue! It is lovely! We are all truly blessed that what lies beyond all dreams as the Supremely Consciously Soul is present here amidst us as Sri Swamiji as a part of our sweetest dream that gives glimpses of awakening into Him. JGD. I always like the children’s nursery rhyme “row row row your boat gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily, life is but dream!” May my Lord and Captain guide us boats out of the stream, out of the dream and into that which is Real. JGD.

    Jaya Guru Datta Puttuji,

Very eloquently said, we live in a world surrounded by our never ending dreams and fantasies. This beautiful MMS video is waking us from this dream world to our real world. Let us wake up and with the grace of our gurudeva cross this ocean of samsara.

most of the time we live in this dreamworld without being aware of it. I can still hear how sri swamiji – during the unforgettable vedanta course 1999 in danmark – said: «real reality we want !». sometimes I have sweet dreams at night with sri swamiji being there, but mostly I feel relief when I wake up. only our beloved sadguru can wake us from the dream and guide us to real reality. may we prove worthy of Your supreme grace.
