  1. Perfect match between visuals & audio! (Album – Datta Vaibhavam – Vol 2) Knowing the meaning makes us enjoy & internalize the message better

{Protect (Raksha) me (mam), guard (pahi) me (mam) Datta!
My heart (hrudaya) is full (mudita) of truth (satya) and integrity (Saucha).. Guard me
Sense control (brahmacharya) shines through (suprasanna) myself.. Guard me
Everyday I understand & explain (nityabodha) compassion ( daya) and righteousness ( dharma) through my actions.. Guard me
    I practice (pala) my daily duties (niyama) without attachment ( nanuraktha).. Guard me}

    Pranams Sathgurudeva!

What a perfect pose you give here.. caressing that yellow garland! We learn how to treat others with respect by simply observing how you handle garlands & flowers. How much compassion you show when talking to us! In doing so, you demonstrate how one can attain Godliness. Those flowers are blessed! So are we, in your Grace. We’re following you.

Jaya Guru Datt Appaji – Yet another MMS masterpiece to help us understand the Vedanta and its application in our lives to attain Sat-Chit-Ananda state (God).
As Puttuji eloquently outlined, the amazing bhajan in the background highlights the Virtuous path that we need to tread to attain Pujya Gurudeva’s Divine abode. They are: Truth, Honesty, Intergrity in thought word and deed along with Sense Control, Detachment and Dharmic living.

It is impossible for anyone in the world to transmit so much information to their devotees through audio-Visual means in less than 90 seconds… only YOU can do it dearest Puttuji!

At your service forever! Humble Pranams to your Lotus Feet. Sri Guru Datta

How I can attain it, that I never harm other by thought, word and deed? The best is to know, that Swamiji see all what we think and do. When I know that, then I am very ashamed, when I harm others. I am sure, that Swamiji is also suffering a little bit, when His devotee makes mistakes. I don’t want, that Swamiji must suffer because of me. Like that I try to never harm others.

Jaya Guru Datta Swamiji for your non-stop efforts to help us, even when we are failing. I made a prayer the other day and your response was so immediate and so magical that I could only marvel at the immense love and desire to help us you have. How much suffering we must cause with our bad behavior. Jesus said that what we do to the least among us we do to God.

    Jaya Guru Datta,
I am very impressed: attaining God is possible by NOT harming others in any ways. I pray that I have the awareness and self-control to not harm anybody. I understand the importance of having a clear mind (earlier mms) – because with a polluted mind it is so easy to harm somebody thought wise.

OM DHANVANTARI NAMAHA – dear Lord Vishnu I pray for everybody who needs your help for good health. May we all have a good health so we can serve You, dear Puttuji.

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji. wonderful album – one of the first few with other artistes. अहिंसा परमो धर्मः – We heard this many times, but the importance, stress and significance of it becomes more evident today after this MMS where we understand that ahimsa is more to do with tri karanaas and not just physical violence. With all that is going around us in the world today – this is a very apt and awakening message. Thanks again Appaji

Jaya Guru Datta. Dearest Mother Sri Swamiji, I pray to become a harmless person. May I be a friend to all. Please help me to purify my mind and control my tongue. Sometimes I get angry and say mean things. Please help me to become a better person. Sri Guru Datta.

    Jai Guru Datta,
this sounds so simple so true and yet it takes more then just a smile. This is again a sentence that takes a lifetime to put into realization. Maybe more. But it´s worth trying, definately. I think it´s impossible to do when I try to avoid being harmfull. It must be more than that – I think I must be firmly rooted in love to God and then it´s possible.

    Jaya Guru Datta
This great MMS is understandable if we consider that every living being is an expression of the Divine. Control of our thoughts is very important as stated already in MMS2: Cultivate noble thoughts. Express them in pleasant words. Reflect them in your actions. The way to heaven is this.
Each MMS gives us new insight into our Divine world. It gives us such a deep respect against every being.

  2. Jaya Guru Datta. I needed to hear this. There was something I wasn’t looking at correctly.

    • on January 9, 2013 at 11:11 pm

Yes , Puttuji in today’s MMS both visuals and audio havegot a perfect match. This is because, Datta has got all name and Rupas ( Forms) and due to that all creations in the nature are devotees of Datta Himself. Also He gives good knowledge to everybody. Here I even remember , Appaji’s words saying that a time will come, then Datta will rule the world. When you go through Datta Dharsanm ( story of Datta) , we can note ,even for Him there are 24 Gurus in various forms through Whom , Datta has learned lot of good things and knowledge. Therefore through Datta, we can learn lot of things, which are very much needed in this kaiyuga. Hence asper this beautiful Bhajan , we pray Lord Datta to protect and guard us in all respects. If we follow the concept of what Datta has learned from His 24 Gurus , definitely we can refrain from harming others through words, thoughts or through our actions. Here again reading alone will not help us to follow like that since we are in this kaiyuga and naturally we will be involving in so many worldly pleasures etc. Therefore we need our Sadguru Who is our Lord Datta Himself and follow His words and teachings strictly so that we can attain such good qualities as per this MSG and develop our spiritual path which is very important and it is only permanent . JGD.

Great MMS Swamiji. While science and technology have advanced marvellously and man has been able to conquer external nature to a great extent, fulfilment has not come to him because of the short comings that are said in this MMS. The realised person sees God in everyone and himself in all. His compassion will be to all. Indians have inherited the higher philosophy but they practice the lowest ethics. The selfish gene wants to appropriate everything to himself which is responsible for various horrible practices. If the individual comes to have a glimpse of the bliss that the Lord can give, corruption in thoughts, words and deeds will drop from him and he will be a benediction instead of being a curse to society. We pray You Swamiji to bless us to have that mental, spiritual strength and wisdom. Jai Guru Datta Appaji !!

Pujya Appaji abode is Vaikunta. There is always peace, happiness, tranquility, and equanimity.. All creatures are happy in SWAMIJI’S PRESENCE.

“The beautiful flower garlands offered by devotees to Sri Swamiji are actually their sins, that He is joufully receiving. He is thus receiving your sins and helping you”–Bhakti Mala July 1999.

Such is Swamiji’s love for us. When Swamiji can handle our sins this way, why cannot we treat others with Love? We should see Sri Swamiji in everybody. Sri Swamiji is everywhere – in the animate and inanimate. Swamiji pervades the entire universe.– an extent our minds cannot fathom but our subconscious can. Realizing this, we must treat others with compassion, respect, and love.

Appaji, we will always treat every being be it via thought, word, or deed respectfully and never harm them. Through this MMS we know the behavior you expect of us. We will be careful and righteous in our conduct. We will learn from you and follow you to divinity.

Sri Guru Datta !! Om Namo Hanumathe Namaha !!

As Dhanvantari, with Your music and teachings, You are healing us, ridding us of our inner enemies, transforming us to be better every day…so that we realize that You are Brahma, the creator..You are present everywhere and in everything. So that we are aware that harming anything is this wonderful creation is harming You..going away from You.. we want to be with you forever Appaji..we will transform and behave better ..and never go away from You!

    • Joseph on January 16, 2013 at 2:04 am

Excellent message to be followed. If we can share our love and affection with all living beings equally, that itself is a great achievement because we always limit ourselves with “I” and “Mine”. May lord bless us all to refrain from harming others by any deeds.

    • Archana Penukonda on January 24, 2013 at 11:01 pm

Jaya Guru Datta! One of the early MMSes said bad thoughts were as bad as bad actions. For most of us, bad deeds are worse than bad words. And it’s okay to have bad thoughts because we are human. We think that as long as we don’t harm anyone, bad thoughts can come and go. Sri Swamiji is cleansing us, every nook and corner of our minds by instructing us to keep clean in thought word and deed. From the Shata Shloki Ramayana, we can clearly see that Lord Rama was completely pure in thought, word and deed. So, the denizens of Ayodhya that followed Him, attained Vaikuntha. Sri Swamiji, our Lord Rama is a stellar example of purity in thought word and deed. If we can keep our thoughts pure, words and deeds will automatically follow. May we strive to be as blessed as the denizens of Ayodhya. May we follow in Appaji’s footsteps, always! Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!
