  4. Jaya Guru Datta, I love this image of Hanuman in the center of the circle of leaves. What a beautiful picture… And an affirmation of the connection between pranayama and natural cycles and beings, like trees. Our clean air depends upon our trees and what better place to be with Hanuman (prana incarnate) to practice Kriya Yoga than under a tree or in a sacred grove! The ancients in both Asia and the western world knew the advantage of forest practice. Yesterday, I was reading Swamiji’s Quotes and one reminded us that even in the city we can put a potted tree on the balcony or plant a Tulasi on the windowsill or create a Bonsai. Thank you, Swamiji, for making this direct connection between trees and breath this morning. It is deeply appreciated..What a great gift Datta/Swamiji brought us from His meditations on the bottom of the lake….Om Namo Hanumate Namaha! Sri Guru Datta!

    This body is a gift from God. During this life I must take care to this body, because only with it I can make experiences on this world and work at my karma. I should take care, a lot of care. I have so much troubles with this body and sometimes I don’t like it. But I must find always again a good connection to it and make all what is good for it. Pranayama is very important for this!

    JGD dear Appaji ! How many times did I hear that I should do Pranayama, be it in YOUR messages or through other means that are, in fact, YOUR voice? To think again and again that I should start brings nothing!!! May I be able to honor this precious teaching of YOURS from now on! I am ashamed because I feel so much like giving the promise of doing Pranayama dayly, but I am afraid that I will not be able to hold it.     Today Appaji has entered in to Kriyayoga and reminding us the importance of practicing the same everyday. Here the photography and the Bhajan on Lord Hanuman are very apt for this MSG. More over Lord Hanuman Himself is an example for this which we can realise from the Bhajan also. To get concentration we have to control our mind. This is a basic requirement for everything in our life. Appaji is teaching us through various ways, how to control our mind through the spiritual path. If we are able to control our mind automatically our will power also increase and there by avoid the unwanted desires in the present busy worldly life. Hence one of the methods , Appaji saying to control our mind by practicing pranayama regularly. This will help us not only to control our mind but also to keep our body fit in all respects .Therefore Appaji we got your concept and preserve our life to do good deeds by practicing pranayama also.     Animations are unique and green colour representing exhistance of life, congenial video. Deep breath and breath control increases lung capacity and also better oxygen supply to brain and all cells in body. In process of practising Pranayam, one has to concentrate on the pattern of breathing. This process calms down mind and thoughts, there by refreshes mind and helps in improving general health of all psycho-somatic disorders. May lord bless us all with healthy and happy life.

    Jaya Guru Datta. Last night was the first time in three weeks that I was able to properly practice Kriya Yoga. We moved to New Jersey and the rental we had set up didn’t work out so we were in cramped quarters until we found another house. What a difference Kriya Yoga makes! I cannot even begin to explain how much I love Your Kriya Yoga. It is with Your divine compassion that an ignorant and Godless person such as myself was brought to Lord Shiva Mother Goddess Sri Swamiji through Datta Kriya Yoga. I love you and I am so grateful. I beg everyone to take this amazing opportunity and find a Datta Kriya Yoga class. Yoh truly are an ocean of compassion, Sri Swamiji. He asked how old must the children be and You said “seven years”. That was the exact age of my little sister.
