God presents himself to His devotees in various forms. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu saw Lord Krishna in the Ashoka Tree. We see the Lord in our Sadguru.
Our ancestors said – Mata, Pita, Guru & God, meaning – Our Mother shows us our Father. Our parents show us our Guru. Our Guru shows us God.. gives us a taste of God.
Narada did that to Ratnakara (Valmiki), provoking him if his parents will partake in his sin of thieving & killing. Ratnakara asked them that, and came back an enlightened man. Narada taught him the Rama Nama. He could only say mara mara mara.. but that was enough to get a taste of rama rama rama.. the Lord himself. The rest is history.
His Holiness is doing that to us, introducing us to Nama Japa & Sankeertana. He wants us to experience the same joy that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu did when he saw Krishna in the Ashoka Tree. Only He can, because He is Krishna himself. Thanks a million, Sadguru for the higher taste. We are following you.

Nobody can give us a taste from something which he has never experienced himself. But who has experienced in his body god? It is the sadguru. He has the full consciousness of God, He is always bounded with god with His consciousness. So He is like a bridge between me and God.

Our Sadguru Sri Swamiji is speaking from his own personal experience, I am convinced. His mother Sri Jayalakshmi Mata, when she gave initiation to Satyanarayana at age 11, gave him an experience of God. He had the vision of the Universal form of the Supreme Soul. He had the experience of the Supreme Energy flowing through him. He definitely got a taste of God that night at the Hanuman temple in Bommeparti. Off and on during rare moments when I had completely lost myself, the experience came to me of an ecstasy that is indescribable, a taste of God, given entirely by the grace of my Sadgurudeva. At such moments, it felt like I knew what was meant by being ‘Unmatta’ – mad with ecstasy. LONG Ago Late Sri Shadarshanam Somasundara Sarma Garu Teacher to young Appaji in Proddatur told about an incident.During one of his visits to Mysore,he accompanied Appaji on a tour of Dakshina Karnataka.At one Holy place both were lodged in a temple.Here His Holiness Appaji called Sri Somasundara Sarma Garu(appaji used to address him as Nannagaru nee father).Sri Sarma approached Him and payed his respects.Appaji asked him suddenly ‘what doyou want,a scholar of 4 Vedas Sri Sarma replied’Swamiji I have you what more I want?Then Appaji addressed him ‘Do you want to See Me?,when Sarma garu said yes’Lo!The Appaji disappeared injustice place stood Lord Dattatreya in all His Regal Splendour.Sarma Garu recited Veda sloka pleasing Dattatreya and His Holiness to withdraw the Viswaroopa.
I Happened to know Sri Soma Sundara Sarma Garu,He is Kuchela of Lord Dattatreya.I gave him a cup of milk and asked How he experienced Dattatreya?Sarma garu replies ‘I can say the milk has Sugar,But I cannot show It.Jgd.

In this artificial world (Kali yuga), it is very difficult to find God. Vedas, Puranas, Homa and such practices are also very difficult.
Our Dattavatara Nada Brahma in human form gives us the easiest method of Nama Japa & Sankeertana and we just follow Pujya Sadgurdeva, our Beloved Appaji and enjoy not only the taste of God, but blessed to be with God !!

Regardless of how many seminars I took, how many years I meditated thinking that I was on the sure track to God, it wasn’t until Sri Swamiji came into my life that I was shown the error of my ways. Through His guidance, I have incorporated His bhajans and prayers into my daily life and tried to pay attention to His words in order to stay on track. I got a taste of God’s love just by looking at your picture in the water. It is a so strange feeling: sometimes I perceive you as my mother, other time as someone belong to my family. It’s true, experiencing the almighty is not possible without His grace. Sadguru gives the propriate direction to each one according to their receiving capability. Two people who like sweet may not like the same sweet, though the major ingredient is sugar and taste is sweet. Every one is special and different with their God gifted merits. According to the intellectual capacity, Sadguru alone can inculcate the presence, love and affection on omnipresent God
