  1. OM – The Pranava Mantra – meaning – I am existence. When each one of us realize this truth, we see ourselves in the world around, and we see the world around within our bosom.
Krishna as a child showed the world in his mouth; and later in the battlefield, rose in vishwaroopa to show that the whole universe is within him. Prahlada got Narassimha to show that Almighty resides everywhere.
Seen this way, life is an interplay of the divinity that resides within and the divinity that pervades all around. That perspective drives mutual respect between all of creation. In such a win-win approach to life, there is no chance to sin.
    Pranams Shivaswaroopa Sathgurdeva!
Yesterday you taught us that all form is unreal, and formless is real. Today, you give us the root cause of identification with the unreal.. selfishness. We will learn to respect the formless divinity that enlivens all of form, and prevent ourselves from sinning.

Jaya Guru Datta! We have all suffered because of our own selfishness and because of the selfishness of others. Seeing God in the natural world around us is easy, but in the humans around us who would harm us, our environment, who kill, steal, rape etc. is not so easy. And yet each one of us has experienced Swamiji’s love when others would condemn us. So we know what it is like to have someone see the good in us when others can’t. Swamiji taught us earlier that those with a peaceful heart have no enemies. Perhaps we need begin only with faith that the divine is in those in whom we find it difficult to see and through that faith ask our beloved Sadguru to show us what He sees. May we have the courage to do that. Sri Guru Datta!

Jaya Guru Datta! Another simple message that can dramatically change lives. There are many situations in life where we commit sins, knowingly or unknowingly. Each situation presents different challenges, and we get sucked in to the drama of life eventually sinning whether it’s just through our thoughts or through small seemingly insignificant actions. This MMS gives us the weapon against sinning. Selfishness comes naturally to any being due to the strong identification with the body. When we give up the identification with the body, we see divinity in and around us. Thank You for the enlightening message, Puttuji, that identification with the body is the root cause of sin. It is this identification that gives rise to desires and consequently sins. This body has a form and is hence unreal. May we always move from untruth to truth. Asatoma Satgamaya! Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji. The selfishness itself is a sinful thought. When selfish, humans tend to think and acquire many vices that will lead them into more sinful activities. On the contrary, when one thinks of the world around, it is easy for one to be unselfish. This is the sarvaatmana bhaavana that humans have to develop. Then there is no reason to be selfish and be drawn into sin. Thanks a lot Appaji.

Jaya Guru Datta! I suppose there are no ‘good’ sins (no matter what we do)? So always, selfishness or adharma are the reason for sin. There are no excuses. I am grateful for the ultra-patient work of You, Appaji, with Your child, cleansing me and removing my selfishness day by day. May I grasp Your lessons as quick as possible! Sri Guru Datta! According to me today, Appaji has further refined the MMS 234 wherein He says perfection is not possible if selfishness remains. It is a fact that except the humanbeing , all other creations by God in this universe are doing their duty with out any motive orexpections which leadthem not to develop any ego or selfishness. As humanbeing , in this kaiyuga , we are more attracted in worldly pleasures and affaires which will create selfishness in our mind. That is why in today’s MMS , also, Appaji is again reminding us that we should realize the existence of God every where and even in our heart itself. If we realize this concept, naturally we will be having a God fearing mind and soft in nature and listen to others views and also give respect to them wherever it is needed. Therefore , Appaji wants us to develop this sothat there is no chance to have a selfish mind which otherwise make us todo sin more. But what ever may be to practice or implement this in our life , definitely we need the help of our Sadguru through Whom, we have to develop our spiritual path since we have to see the God in the form of our Guru. If we go through GuruGeetha , we can realize the importance and the need of a Guru which Lord Siva ,Himself has expressed. The photography is also very apt for the MSG since Lord Siva is seen in two different forms and we can see the expressions in his face an realize the kind ness also and finally our Appaji is seen in the form of Siva for us Who is pointing the consequences of selfishness. Similarly the Bhajan is also connecting to the MSG only. Thank you Appaji for alerting us every now and then, sothat we will not involve unnecessarily in the worldly pleasures which is very common in this kaiyuga and help us and not to do sin. JGD.

Great Guruday Gift in Tamil !! Divinity personified on this earth is our Sadguru. Following happily the path shown by our Sadgurudeva is our win-win approach to life, without sin.

Shiva Swaroopa Appaji coming out of the Shivalinga is amazing!!

    Jai Guru Datta Appaji _/I\_!!

God created the universe with balance in mind. When we hoard excessively or cultivate thoughts that give rise to such tendencies, we are interfering with God’s design, and accumulating Sins.

The big barrier to perfection… selfishness.
    Identification with the unreal.. selfishness.
    Sadguru’s Grace We’ll never allow …selfishness.!!

    What is sin?
In my view, to harm others for the sake of one`s own well-being, or out of ignorance.
One does not feel the other side.
But having respect for the whole includes also having respect for all its parts.
It sounds so easy. Why don`t we have this respect at all times, but only sometimes?
To me, it`s because we take duality, good or bad, for granted. Ego wants it that way.
A great help is the focuss on the whole, as this video shows it clearly and the last one also.

  4. JAI! GURU DATTA ! shathakoti pranams to lotus feet of pujya sri swamiji, an excellent message to realise. JAI GURU DATTA.

    Ich danke DIR dafür.

  5. Jaya Guru Datta Appaji,
What is selfishness? It is when we take our own interests into account at the expense of others. We harm others in this way and create bad situations since we gave no thought to anything except our own faulty agendas. If we remember that everything is connected to the almighty, we would respect each other. If we remember God is all providing, we would realise that there is no reason for selfishness. Please bless us to remember your grace and erase selfishness in us, dear Appaji. Jaya Guru Datta.
