What a wonderful way to invoke the Universal Mother on the first day of Navarathri ! We see Her in our Gurudeva. What a divine sight the pada darshana is ! We feel blessed this Tuesday morning.
Adi Shankara in his Lalitha Sahasranama praises the Mother as – Shruti-sImanta-sindhUrI-kRta-pAdAbja-dhUlikA – meaning – The crimson colored dust of the Mother’s lotus feet is seen at the parting of the hair on the head of Shruti. {Shruti – She personifies the Vedas}. This tells us, the Vedas are nourished at the feet of the Mother.
Pranams, Ma Janani ! We feel your blessing every moment, in the divine grace of our Gurudeva. We will – in a spirit of selfless service at His crimson feet – do all that we can for veda samrakshana. Our Gurudeva has created opportunities like the Veda Nidhi, in which we will partake. Every 2 Minute MMS from our Gurudeva is an exposition of Vedic principles. What a beautiful thing it is to be involved in these rituals that flow with the natural cycles of our cosmos and allow us to receive those blessings in ways that most have forgotten. JGD Maa!! This MMS is a visual treat. His feet adorned in paarani, complete with mettalu and gajjelu. The only thought I have as I see and absorb this visual treat is “This is where I belong, Please allow me stay there always oh Appaji”. Today during the livestreaming, for a long time, the camera was focussing on His adorned feet and at one place, He was slipping His feet into the padukas. that day, before seeing the mms, I was very deeply touched by a wonderful live webcast shot, at the end of the dolotsava, when sri swamiji als mother godess gauri, was taking Her seat, the camera focussed on His/Her sacred feet – that moment, here, now, not an image, not an imagination, a present living reality. what a grace, what a chance, what a responsability to experience the physical presence of the universal mother here and now. may we prove worthy of Her glorious grace and be able to understand and practise His teachings in every second of our lives.

Namaste Puttuji. Super video with beautiful pictures and marvellous Appaji’s composition, I mean bhajan. On Gowri day festival, posted video showing Sadguru Pada picturing the bhajan Gowri Gowri Gowri Gowri Guru roopini and also blending with the bhajan in the video, O janani. And the quote, the feet of the Universal mother are the cradle for Vedas. Wonderful quote describing greatness of Sri Mata. Veda’s which are considered as superior most, if their abode is at feet of Sri Mata, Are there any words to describe Her. As Guru is always considered as Universal Mother, Sri Guru Gita too quotes the same. Thank You Puttuji. Namaste.

What a beautiful video to herald the beginning of divine Navaratri celebrations! The darshan of the auspicious feet of our Mother Goddess is indeed wonderful. As we see in Sri Lalita Sahasranama, all Vedas reside at the Holy Feet of Mother Goddess. Our Sadguru is Mother Goddess personified! When Brahma forgot Vedas, it was by the grace of Mother Goddess that He got back the memory and was able to recollect Vedas! Such is the greatness of Mother Goddess. The soothing Devi bhajan “O Janani” in the background, makes the video more beautiful. Let us all use this time of Navaratri to engage in the worship of Mother Goddess who is in the form of Sadguru and obtain Her grace. With this grace, our ignorance is dispelled. Jaya Guru Datta
