Jaya Guru Datta. The temple of music and the temple for devotees of music. This is an architectural, spiritual and acoustic marvel. No where else is there a temple for deities of the seven notes. Every detail is so beautifully thought through – the 72 pillars for the 72 melakarta ragas, the 22 tanpuras for the shruti, the fan shaped structure to remind us of Ramayana – when Lord Hanuman used the hand fan of this shape to gently fan His Lord Rama, portraits of the musical greats from around the world, the well ventilated and well lit structure with free flow of air throughout, the convenient seating, it’s just all marvelous.

Pranams at the Holy Lotus Feet of Datta Sadgurudeva.
