Apt invocation of Narassimha & Dhanvantari.
Prahlada was steadfast in devotion to Narayana, inspite of going through several ordeals. He had to wait without giving up, until the timing was right for Vishnu to incarnate as Narassimha (neither man nor animal) in that pillar in the courtyard (neither inside nor outside), in twilight (neither day nor night)
Dhanvantari is the divine physician.

Jaya Guru Datta! Swamiji, you have told us so many times that once the guru looks upon a person even once, that soul is always under His guidance and protection. How can we ever leave you knowing that you have made this commitment to us? Even if we did want to go, you would still be there for us. Who else loves us with such perseverance? If ever I stray, please come and find me as you did in this lifetime..Sri Guru Datta!
Jaya Guru Datta. You walk into one’s life only on Your wish, will and timing. The effort is all to make that happen. even the effort is You. The devotee is You. But, the gratification one gets after obtaining You is priceless. That peace, that gratification can never be lost – not even fools agree to that.
Thanks a lot for reminding us all Appaji that our minds be steadfast on Your Holy Lotus Feet.

True, it is extremely difficult to maintain the same level of firm faith and adherence to a Sadguru throughout one’s relationship with him. Troubles come. Pain comes. Inconvenience, insults, unexpected expenses, and demands occur, sometimes in spite of Sadguru’s grace (it seems like), and sometimes perhaps because of his grace, which only becomes evident much later. We, who are used to physical comforts, and emotional comforts by way of relationships and interdependence on others, are often challenged by Sadguru either directly, or indirectly, to give them up, for our own spiritual benefit. It is irksome and both the body and the mind resist such changes and sacrifices. The way he cleans us of our accumulated dirt, the scratching, scrubbing, swishing, dousing, spraying, and rinsing is certainly painful. But without such cleansing, we have absolutely no hope for the future. Other than Sadguru, who else would take such pains with us, all at his expense, with no benefit at all for him? The mind does play games, and tempts us often to just give up Guru and go back to the old comfortable ways. The mind makes us forget how much more miserable we were before Sadguru entered our lives. Constant reminders are required to stay with Guru and endure the stiff requirements of being a disciple or a devotee. Jaya Guru Datta

Please bless me that I stick to You and follow You. But please also bless me to not be so foolish (anymore) to think that I would never leave You. There are some examples of people or even disciples who left their guru where one would have never expected such thing. Sri Guru Datta! Much love to my beloved Sadgurudeva!

A fool follows the EGO’s proddings to give up that crazy Guru! It is the EGO that the hurtful things you have gone through would have never been if you had never gone on this path with this Guru!
But further than the truth is the proddings of this tricky EGO!… who is the source, the REAL source of all the pain and tears! I love the fire analogy in this MMS! We are in the fire here on this Earth, and only THIS incredible sadguru can pull us out unscathed! and perhaps with a smile or two! (maybe even three!) Jai Guru Datta!

Puttuji, from the very beginning , iam reading and watching our Appaji’s Nandana SGS MMS and storing such a precious and valuable Jem in my diary to refresh every now and then even after the project is completed. But according to me , today’s MMS 313 is very different from all the previous MMS. As a devotee of Appaji , it is touching my heart and mind. In one side if you think , we cannot give any comment and on the other side if you think , we can write continuously and give an elaborate comment. In a simple way if you think , how a teacher is needed to a student to build up his carrier till he complete and accordingly we need a Sadguru in our life to put through the spiritual path and develop the spiritual knowledge .Here there is a difference between a Teacher and a Sadguru .This is because the relation with the Teacher will be over , once we complete our education and whereas the relation with the Sadguru will never complete and it will continue till our life. Here we are always a student only and He is the Master, especially in this Kaliyuga. Then secondly I remember Appaji’s words saying that taking or accepting a Sadguru is our Karma and once we accept Him as our Guru, under any circumstances we should not leave Him till our life. If we do like that , it is just as we walk in the dark or changing our dress every day. That means we will not get the benefit in the spiritual path or knowledge and which is only going to be permanent till our life and that is the real truth. How a foundation is required for a building and similarly a Sadguru is needed for us to develop our spiritual knowledge. Therefore we are so fortunate to get our Appaji in this Janma , Who is an incarnation of Lord Datta and having all qualities Hence Appaji how can we give up You and please forgive us if we do any thing wrong and request You to correct when ever necessary and seek Your blessings to continue as a devotee till our life and to do seva also to Your mission in the best possible manner. Securing such outstanding luminary as one’s Guru itself is to be considered as the result of virtuous acts in previous births. How foolish and misfortune it is,to lose the association with such a Guru? To receive the assistance from such Guru’s is one’s duty. We are a tons load of fortunate to have Sriswamiji as our master and Guru. Only we are having that rare privilege of having Sriswamiji as our Sadguru. It is indeed very difficult to get a guru in ones life. But as the Guru enters our lives and starts cleansing us imparting the training to our foolish minds we are prone to stray away unable to endure . But as Swamiji has aptly said it is not Sikhsha(punishment) but Sikhshana (Training). Not able to see the events/incidents in the proper light many blame the Sadguru for their fallacies and inconsistencies and break away. A precious jewel has to be safeguarded. We should be overly cautious in safeguarding this Priceless SadguruPrapti that we have attained in this life. Pray Sadguru Deva to give that strength to always remain steadfast at those Lotus feet for ever and ever and for all births to come.
