  1. {Brilliant verse from the Hitopadesha}
A man regretted straying away from dharma, because he couldn’t control his mind going after his senses. He went to a Saint for help.
“You only have 7 days to live” said the Saint.. “Go do whatever you want & come back in 3 days”.
The man shared the prophecy with his family. He quickly visited temples, distributed his wealth to charity, engaged himself in religious study, and found no time to even think of sense gratification.
Coming back, he told the Saint how much he had changed in 3 days. “Your problem is solved” said the Saint.. “Constantly remember that death always has you by your hair – you’ll die any moment – and you’ll not have time to waste behind sense gratification”
We’ll stop taking life for granted.. for we never know how long it will last!
We’ll practice dharma like Rama did. Nothing is more important. Nothing is more urgent. Dharma NOW. Dharma ALWAYS.
    Your Puttuji

Jaya Guru Datta! All I feel this morning is gratitude for what have brought into all of our lives, for all that you have taught me and for your presence in my life. You have given this meager existence purpose and meaning where others see none. I am eternally grateful. Sri Guru Datta!

Prostrations to Lord Yama Dharmaraja (Lord of Death and Virtue) with prayers to keep me aware constantly that time is short and extremely precious, not to be wasted on any undesirable or unwarranted activites. Thank you Swamiji for bringing this awareness of urgency into my mind at least now, after much of life has been wasted in frivolous pursuits. I offer my most reverential prostrations at your divine lotus feet, Sadgurudeva. Jaya Guru Datta

The clip in the MMS where Sadguru stands in the lawn, reading out the message in English, the two trees behind Him appear to be standing erect in dancing poses.
They are leafless – in the shackle of difficulties.Despite all odds, they stand graciously providing beauty to the lawn.
Indeed, the world is a theatre & Sadguru is our Master.
We will play our roles well. Give us the strength. For we know, if we follow this teaching we will attain Go-win-da.
    Om Govindaya Namah.

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji Thank you for the wonderful MMS. What an alert about practicing Dharma Appaji ! Such instructions are very important for every one and especially the youth since they will never go astray from the righteous path ! It is very easy to ignore Dharma and get deviated. But to practice Dharma, one needs to be ever alert, ever genuine, ever committed to family, society and and Religion , violating which damages the family structure, societal frame and The chastity of Relugion. It is one’s responsibility to protect all the three ! Discipline starts from home and hence parents need to be ever alert to stand as examples for the next generation to pass on the treasure of Dharma ! Dharma is the only treasure that should be passed on from one generation to the other ! No material transfers are as precious and long standing as that of Dharma ! Pujya Sri Appaji got the ” Dharma Dhwaja ” erected in front of Guru Nilayam with light and sound incorporated in it, from which we can learn the depth and subtlety of Dharma ! Dharma is the greatest subject in Life Philosophy ! It is nothing but performing our duties as per the scriptures ! Yet it is not all that easy to practice ! It is possible only due to the blessings if Safguru like our Appaji ! This should infact be introduced as a part of curriculum in primary schools ! Whatever may be the advancement in the fields of Science and Technology, The celestial subject Dharma is second to none ! It is only Pujya Appaji who imparts the Dharmic path of living in small quantities , dose after dose and moulds the life style of people of all the ages ! Today’s strict warning makes us feel more responsible and practical in following Dharma ! Jaya Guru Datta ! Jai Hanuman ! Jai Dharma Dhwaja ! Jai Ho Appaji , the Universal Teacher, Guide, Friend and Philosopher ! Pranams to the lotus feet of Pujya Appaji !

    Jaya Guru Datta
    Oṁ Śri Datta Veṅkateśaya Namaḥ
We all need to be very careful to follow Dharma. Nearly one year back Sri Swamiji told us in MMS 9: “If we protect Dharma then Dharma will protect us.”
In Ramayana we see how strong Rama was following strictly the way of Dharma. Confronted with a huge amount of problems He turned everything around in a wonderful way. The way of Dharma leads to inner peace and to our fulfillment.
Thank you for this nice MMS 🙂

Today’s Appaji’s MMS has got a deep inner meaning also. In Mother’s creation as humanbeing , every body has to face the death at any time or at any moment and at that time even the hair is in the clutches of the death. If we see the photography , we can see Appaji is showing His finger towards downward which means every part of our body is in the clutches of death. Knowing this now Appaji is asking us, why should we give more importance to sense organs. Here I recollect MMS 207, says Dharma is ancient , universal and changeless . More over dharma is born from truth only MMS 52 . In this Kaliyuga people are more interested in worldly pleasures and unwanted desires and there by they have no time to think about Dharma. Here dharma means the basic principle of cosmos which they forget because of pleasures and desires. Due to this we give more importance to sense organs. To over come this we have to practice Dharma through the spiritual path from our early part of our life sothat we will not give much importance to sense organ. Hence even though the death is common , we will not run behind sense gratification . That is why even in the photography we can see Lord Rama , Who follow Dharma. Hence Appaji is reminding us we should also follow Dharma , especially in this Kaliyuga. Thank you Appaji and we follow your words and teachings to practice Dharma. JGD.

Jaya gurudatta,we see so many deaths before our very eyes. we well know that death is imminent. Yet it deludes us and we feel we will be there for more time to come and we keep procrastinating falling prey to the carnal desires. We have become like the standing swamp water, so many lifetimes have done and are going by, we are still stuck. You are working so hard to uplift us Appaji… Its high time we realize that life is so short, we need to be constantly flowing like the river so that we reach the ocean soon. Your teachings have started some movement in this ignorant swamp Appaji and with Your blessings it will be rushing to reach You!

Jaya Guru Datta! Thank You for the message, Swamiji. Thank You for the wake-up call. Yes, my time on this planet is limited and by Your grace, this limited mind has some cognition of the imminent mortality. Ego hides the truth, like yesterday’s message said that none of what I see around me is real. My relation with my family members and friends vanish when this body dies. To make the most of this birth, I need to give up attachment to everything around me and simply follow a Dharmic way of life. That will move the soul further along in its journey towards Godhead. There is still a wide gap to bridge between what I know I need to do and what I’m doing. Time doesn’t wait for us to get ready, it just keeps moving, no matter what. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!
