    Jaya Guru Datta.
Bananas and banana leaves have always had a place in south Indian culture. Food is often served on banana leaves during auspicious occasions. Bananas are the one staple fruit too, during auspicious events. Very nice to know that Lord Hanuman likes these trees. Wonderful to see bonsai banana trees.

Thank You for the message, Puttuji. Pranams at the Holy Lotus Feet.

The bonsai banana plant is in the kishkinda Moolika Vana. Hanuman’s kishkinda garden. Banana plant stems are auspicious and are there for all festivals and pujas . But in the kishkinda Moolika Vana the constant presence of hanuman towering overhead the new mural of Hanuman carrying the sanjeevini mountain bonsai Vana is constantly auspicious.
