Aditya rises in the east & sets in the west. He sets for some, only to rise for someone else. Arka always shines. It is ignorance to say he was born this morning, or say he’ll die tonight
The snow on the mountains melts & flows as the river into its ocean. The ocean vaporises & descends as ice on the mountains. It’s ignorance to say the ice dies when it melts into its river, or say the river dies when it flows into its ocean

We realize that just as how the quiet sunset is at the same time a vibrant sun rise, this life too has to set, to rise somewhere else in your service. The river has nothing to fear in reaching its ocean.

As Child I had big fears about the death, it was terrible. Later I began to loose them more and more. Now I feel me very safe and good with Swamiji, my fears are away. I begin to understand what the death will be. Swamiji helps me to understand more and more, I am happy!

Jaya Guru Datta! The greatest of all fears is the fear of death. We fear death because we don’t understand it said Sri Swamiji in response to a little girl’s question on the topic during Guru Purnima festivities in Dallas once. Just as the day dies to give way night and yesterday dies to give way to today, so too, this body dies to give birth to another. We exist today because this soul cast off its previous body. But, this theoretical knowledge alone is not enough to conquer the fear of death. Our attachments, our strong identification with this body and our ignorance will continue to haunt us and it is only with the grace of Lord Shiva, who appears to us in the form of our Sathguru that we can gain an understanding of death. It is only our Sathguru who will let us experience that this body is an instrument in the journey of the soul. It is only our Sathguru who will train us to overcome all fear to experience everlasting joy. Obeisances to the Holy Lotus Feet of Datta Sathguru.

We all are here for a purpose – a purpose of service to Sadguru in various ways, which He derives of us skillfully, by Himself taking different forms or blessing us to take different forms..
For He is boundless & timeless – in His Sharana we too are abundant with His grace & blessings, therefore, becoming like Him. Just like, Hanuman – the bhakta, worships & loves Rama, prayers that we too are tied in pure selfless love till eternity.

Jaya Guru Datta – by Guru’s grace alone we can cross this ocean of life. in earlier MMS’ Appaji also gave another gem of a message – fear is alleviated by non-duality. that includes the fear of death too… when all the fears are going away, the fear of KAALA too will go away. however, that non-duality (ekaatmana bhaava) can be accomplished again only by Guru’s grace… Thanks a ton Appaji

From today’s MMS, we can realize the need of a Sadguru in our life and His important role. How a teacher is taking responsibility to bring the carrier of a student, similarly the Sadguru will take care for the growth in our spiritual life. Puttuji you have given a nice explanation about Aditya( Sun) and also about the concept of snow in the mountain. Similarly the Birth and Death is a circle of kalachakra created by the God from which no body can escape . At the same time if we develop our spiritual path through our Sadguru, by His grace we can over come from fear of death. To my knowledge even our Sadguru can postpone the death of a devotee if his soul is really needed for some reason or purpose. Here also at one stage he has to face the death. But in such case he will reach in the path of liberation by the grace of Sadguru. Again here we should remember that One must be a
true devotee who follow His words and teachings strictly and it should be like a continues flow of river in to a ocean. Appaji we got your concept and face any consequences in our life with out any fear through your teachings in all respects. The Bhajan in Raga Lathanta Priya naimly Ahim Hrim Sreemwhich was played by Appaji continuesly at one stage and experienced It’s effect and such a powerful. Similarly Appaji says by listening continuesly the Bhajan Amba Bhavani Sarade will prevent you from fear and horror . These are our Appaji’s some of the teachings which will help from the fear of even death. JGD.

None of us are aware about duration of our life span, but the most surprising part of life is neither do we think life is not permanent nor do we realise completion of a day in our life is a day less to live. Realising this fact, makes us to be detached and freed from the clutches of greed and jealousies, this process will surely make us lead a peaceful and contended life, happy with whatever God has blessed us with. Every day is a new gift by God for us to live and complete our dreams and ambitions as an attept to lead a happy life. All of us should definetly make such attempts, but death is not acceptable because all living beings strive to live and should live till the completion of life span God has blessed us with. Only HE should give us the courage to conquer the fear of death, if there is no fear of death too in one’s life, then there is nothing in life for such souls to worry about. To conquer any type of fear one has to understand and analyse why and what is scaring me because fear is after all a feeling. Only then one can come out of that fear. Conquering fear means an intellectual understanding about relation of life, body and death. For this fear to be conquered inevitably one needs to seek HIS blessings. May lord bless us all to conquer the fear of death.
