  1. {Nagabhusha : He wears a snake (naga) as his ornament (bhusha) | Nadatosha : He is pleased (tosha) by music (nada) | Natitarosha : Anger (rosha) is his act (natita) | Lord Shiva}
A skilful actor chooses anger when his script demands it. He is not possessed by anger. He is acting (natita) angry (rosha). He uses anger as a tool to achieve a purpose, while he himself is calm deep inside
Anger as a chosen response is very different, from anger as a spontaneous reaction. Animals react. Man can also respond
    Pranams Shivaswaroopa Sadgurudeva!
You’re Natitarosha, for our benefit. That anger does not last long. You’re Nadatosha.
Learning from you, we’ll chant the mantras you’ve taught us, to get over our anger.. Because, anger pollutes the mind & tires it.. while the Nada of your Mantra cleans the mind & energises it.. making it possible for our minds to find intelligent solutions to even complex daily problems. We feel blessed.
    Jaya Guru Datta. Your Puttuji

Mantra chanting makes one peaceful and calm.

  3. Jaya Guru Datta Appaji ! Thank you so much for the wonderful MMS with an essential message, a Bhajan sung in a beautiful string like melodious voice, ” Nagabhusha, Nada Thosha ” and the Mantras “Om Nagendraya Namah and Om Gurave Namah”. It is very difficult to control the unpleasant situation as we can never afford to be angry with somebody or anybody. But when we become a prey to anger too, we have to control our reaction and remain inert as per our Sadguru Deva’s instructions. Thank you so much Appaji for the advice. We will definitely practice to put it aside to maintain a clean and pleasant situation. Bless us with the power of discretion to respond to the situation in a subtle manner instead of reacting and creating a havoc. Give us the strength Appaji !! Here the beauty is the correlation between the Mantras, Message and the Bhajan. Nagendra is known for His ” HISS” which depicts anger. By chanting the Mantra in a fit of anger, here Pujya Appaji says that we will finally focus on “Sadguru” which helps us land in a ” No reaction” runway, helping us keep the situation pleasant. What a teaching Appaji !! Pranams Sadguru Deva !!

Appaji, you possess unlimited powers, yet you are the model of restraint. At times if you show anger it is only a tool to correct your children, and you always forgive. You are never gripped by anger. We on the other hand are always in the grip of anger or other emotions. We must all strive to conquer our emotions, especially anger. We will follow your advice right away and take a minute to chant a mantra when gripped by anger. Jaya Guru Datta. Om namo Hanumate namaha.

  4. jgd pranaams Swami ji thanks for the perfect tip, it is possible with Your grace, otherwise in anger mind gets so involved in anger that it can not even think about japa, chanting the mantra should be practiced regularly so that it appears in mind when required ‘ Re mun re re mun jhoomat gaao Hari ke guna’ jgd onhn

We cause irreversible harm when we are angry. One moment of restrain, one moment of patience can save relationships. If only we control our anger for that moment, we can stop ourselves from hurting others – in speech and deed.our Sadguru has very compassionately taught us another very important lesson. Lets all put it to practice in our daily lives and win over the monster called anger. Jai Guru Datta

What a nice teaching, Appaji has given today as how to control our anger through this MMS 356. Puttuji you have given a nice explanation also for this. When we read GuruGeetha , in this Kaliyuga , our Appaji Himself as Lord Siva, Who has come to this earth to guide and protect us in all respects. The photography and the music are apt for this MSG. Incidentally I remember here Appaji’s words saying that, if we get anger, drink a cup of ice water and chant any Mantra for sometime . Naturally your anger will slowly reduced and the mind will become calm. One of the main reasons to get anger is only due to our mind. If the mind is polluted by filling with unwanted desires then automatically it will lead to anger when a thing is not materialised according to our wish. Therefore controlling the mind is the solution to reduce the anger and not only that if we develop anger in our life even it lead to stress, tension and pressure etc and at the end will become disparate. Hence to control our mind is possible only through follow the spiritual path through our Sadguru . Here we have to follow His words and teachings. In the spiritual path , our Appaji is giving us small mantras which we should compulsorily chant everyday . This will help us in several ways and reduce our anger and thereby our mind will become calm. Further Appaji’s healing music also help us to reduce our anger and lead to balance our mind and get concentration also. Thank You Appaji to alert us the concept of anger and how to be calm through Your words and teachings. JGD .

Jaya Guru Datta! Yes, Puttuji, anger is more often than not a spontaneous reaction. Swamiji instructs us to not be slave to anger. And here again, Swamiji shows us a way to protect ourselves from our enemy called anger. Thank You, Swamiji for these beautiful words of wisdom. Not only does it help us to restrain our anger, it even saves the situation as the message points out, because anger has the ability to spread negativity.

Chanting the divine name is the magical charm You blessed us with. It helps us cross the ocean of samsara and gain peace of mind. From obvious, gross level benefits such as the above to benefits that manifest from time to time – in helping control anger for instance – chanting the divine name is the most precious wealth we have. Regardless of where we are and whatever situation we are in, I hope we can always continue to chant the divine name, forever! Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

Anger drains out all positive energy and throws a person off his balance. Chanting or remembering God would help us save our energy and time, but executing this is very difficult because only those thoughts related in provoking anger are filled in our mind. There is no greatest enemy than anger to overcome, may lord bless us all to remember HIM and chant HIS name in all miseries and state of anger.

  7. Good to control anger with chanting mantra,it will stop further problem like B.P,and other complications. Jai guru datta V v s s Sarma

My beloved SADGURU, what a wonderful teaching! Even if it seems very logical, it is a new opportunity for me to do like this.
    Thank YOU heartily.

    JGD Appaji
Words said in anger hurt the receiver, but leave us restless too. Appaji’s bhajans are mantras. We can resolve to remember or hum our favorite bhajan when angry.. we will then immediately envision Appaji’s divine smile and realize the futility of our anger and become calm again.
