  1. {Lalitha – She who plays} {Ekakshari – One (Ek) who is imperishable (akshara) – From the Lalitha Trisathi Mantra } { Bhajan – Madalamba; Album – Amba Gana Vaibhavam}
    She is the Primordial Energy that empowers all other forms of Energy. She is eternal.
    She plays. And she energises the play that we are all a part of. She is Prana empowering our body, and through the body she empowers our mind and intellect.
    Pranams Deviswaroopa Sathgurudeva!
    Dressed in green, you are our Mata Annapoorani. You are the Energy in all the greenery that is the primary source of food for mankind. Green is life.
    Bhojan & Bhajan define your mission. Through bhojan you energise the body, for it to support the mind. And through bhajan you energise & enrich the mind. Through that nourishment, you fuel the sadhak’s aspiration for progress in the inner & outer worlds.
    We now appreciate why you give so much importance to Annadana. We follow you.
    Jaya Guru Datta. Your Puttuji

    Jaya Guru Datta! Each day Swamiji is feeding our minds with proper knowledge. He feeds our souls and heals and nourishes our bodies with His music and Datta Kriya Yoga. All He asks of us is that give up one meal a week and share the equivalent of one meal with others. Hunger is everywhere, not just among the poor, and not just in our bodies. Let us all find ways to nourish one another as we can with all of our resources, not just money. Sri Guru Datta!

    As a child I observed my mother feeding a few stray animals and birds as well as hungry homeless people. Everyone knows that feeding people that come to the Ashrama has been an important activity in the history of the Ashrama. In following our Guru, we then need to do the same in our homes/communities. While Sri Swamiji instructs us on our dharma, he also wraps these charities in to our lives so beautifully and almost playfully that before we realize it, we are already part of such a charity. The “Share Your Food Tuesday” comes to mind as an example. We didn’t need to think about or analyze the merits of this activity. We simply had to skip a meal and feed someone hungry because Swamiji told us to. Thank You, Swamiji, for these valuable lessons and for weaving little acts of charity in to the tasks you have us do. You teach us how to earn good karma, but you also make such tasks part of the little games you have us play. Truly, your love for us knows no bounds. Pranams at the Lotus Feet.

    By seeing today’s MMS, everybody knows that our Appaji Himself as the great Annadana Prabhu in this kaiyuga. According to me, in various occasion , Appaji used to say amoungall the Sevas in which we are involving, Annadana seva is very great and gives Punya. That is why Appaji has even organised a trust in the name of His Divine Mother for this noble causewherein we all know that everyday in our Ashrama this seva is doing .Even in our Cochin Ashrama we are daily giving poor feeding. In the photography Appaji is seen as Mata Annapurni, wearing in green sari. Puttuji as you explained, green means flourishing is there. I even remember here Appaji’s one of the old Bhajan , naimly—- Annapurna jnanapurna sadadathume in Surya deva CD. Through Bhojan Appaji is energising our body and through Bhajan ,He energises and enriches our mind. Not only that when we sing His Bhajans , it is like adyalises for our body itself. Therefore Appaji we got your concept and do the Annadana seva for the needy and also do our besfor development of your mission. JGD.

    Only hunger can be satisfied amongst all the desires and food is one of the basic need for all living beings. What else can be the best charity than feeding the hunger! Tuesday “Share your food” by Sri Swamiji’s message to inculcate charity in us is amazing. May lord bless us all towards righteousness.
