Staying one’s course through this ocean requires adjusting his sails according to the wind, shedding all unnecessary attachment so that one stays afloat, moving towards his destination. Doing this demands a steady, focussed mind
The mind is fickle. Unpredictable. Like that boat in the ocean, it gets carried away by the lure of the senses. It’s easier to look for gems under the ocean, rather than predict which way the winds will blow at the surface

Om Aim Hreem Shreem Siva Rama Anagha Dattaya Namaha! One of the great mantras given to us by Sadguru which helps us to find the gems in the ocean meaning our own being! Since the mind is unpredictable we should learn to tame it with Kriya and mantras and Swamiji’s music and Yoga. With these sort of practices, the waves appear only on the surface and we are peacefully within collecting wwhat is most important..the gems of self! What a lovely photo! Jai Guru Datta
Jaya Guru Datta! When Swamiji Himself is saying that it’s easier to find a gem in the ocean, it demonstrates how very unpredictable the human mind is. It is saddening and motivating at the same time. The motivation comes from the challenge it presents to us in trying to control it.
Yes, the mind doesn’t just go after everything we see, but also after anything the sense perceives. There are no boundaries and no rules for the mind. Ego springs from the mind, attachments exist in the mind. Swamiji is blessing us with so much energy through all His activities and through MMSes to tame our mind. I pray to Swamiji to bless me to put this to good use. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!
What a good lesson, Appaji has given today through this MMS. Here I recollect Appaji’s one of the old Bhajan’s— Samsaram Dhukka Mayam– Shareram Roga Mayam. Therefore it is very difficult to sail through this ocean of Samsara. If we involve too much in this samsara even we will be dragged in tomuch worries which will lead us to stress, tension etc and finally ends in to diseases. Further I even remember , Appaji’s words saying that when we follow Him, even some of our relation will be away from us. This is because it is not so easy to follow our Sadguru since , He is the incarnation of Lord Datta in this Kaliyuga and thereby , He may test us in various ways. Those who follow our Appaji sincerely can realize this fact. Hence everybody cannot follw our Appaji. In otherwords we have to follow His words and teachings strictly and also should obey His command with out a second thought. That is why some of our relations will be away from us since they cannot understand this fact. But once if we are in His grip , then we are safe in all respect. In this connection I have got my own experience and some of our relatives are away from us and at the sametime iam not at all worried since iam in the grip of our real Sadguru. Once we follow Him , through His teachings we can control our mind and can get rid of unwanted desires in our life and to a great extend we can over come from our worries. Therefore if we don’t follow a Sadguru our life will not be fulfilled and naturally in such person , we cannot predict what is in their mind since it will be not stedy . Thank you Appaji for such a nice lesson and we follow you till our life in this janma and we are not worried what ever may happen in between that. JGD.

మనసు అనేది ఎంత సరళంగా కనపడే పదమో అంత లోతైన పదం. దాని ఆలోచనలు ఒక మనిషిని ఉన్నత స్థితికి తీసుకు వెళ్ళగలవు, దారి తప్పితే వ్యక్తిని , ప్రపంచాన్ని పట్టి కుదిపేయ గలవు. ఒక శాస్త్రవేత్త ఆలోచనలు లోక కల్యాణానికి దోహదపడతాయి. ఒక ఉగ్రవాది ఆలోచనాలు విధ్వంసాన్ని సృష్టిస్తున్నాయి. రెండూ మనస్సు చేసే ఆలోచనలే.మనస్సు జడ పదార్ధం కాదు. మనసు చేసే ఆలోచనలు, దానిలోతు అంతుబట్టనివి.అనేకమంది ముద్రలు, ప్రభావాలకు లోనయ్యే మానవుని అంతర్గత శక్తి అది. ధనం, ఆయుధాలు అన్నిటికంటే బలమైనది ఈ మనో శక్తి. నిజంగా మానవులకు ఎదుటి మనిషి మనసుని చదవ గలిగే శక్తి వుంటే ప్రపంచం ఎలా వుంటుందో ఊహ కందదు. మౌనమే మనసు భాష. మనసును నిగ్రహించుకోగల్గితే జీవితం మన చేతిలో ఉంటుంది. అలా ఉంచేందుకు ఉపయోగపడే ఉపకరణాలు శ్రీస్వామీజి పంపుతున్న ఈ సందేశాలు. నిరాశ, నిస్పృహ, భయం, వత్తిడి మొదలైన మనసు చేసే మాయలనుంచి మనలను బైటపడవేసే ఓషదులు. జయగురుదత్త.
