  1. {Dolika – Track 6, Album – Gurucharana Pooja} Rajkumar Bharati’s soulful voice & Sadguru’s lyrics enable reflection this Sunday

We like riding on (rohaye) a swing (dolika) or palanquin (andolika). Ups & downs in a short song (geetika) or concert (sangeetika), make it worth listening (shravaye) to. We don’t like monotony. But, we always want ups & ups in life. That’s why “Laugh & the world laughs with you. Cry & you cry alone”

    Pranams Gurudeva!

Holding that dove aloft, you’re our harbinger of peace. Matsya (Vishnu) helped Brahma recover the Vedas from Hayagriva. You’re Matsya, helping us discover our sense of equipoise. Yes, we’ve always shared our grief only with God (YOU).Who else listens?

You want us to get better. Seated on that swing, you ask “Why grieve when you know life’s a swing ride? What goes up comes down. What swings back swings forth. Why not accept it all?” We accept. In that acceptance we find our equipoise. Jaya Guru Datta, Your Puttuji

  2. Jaya Guru Datta,

    Dear SWAMI AVADHOTTA
God, YOU APPAJI is always with us and is holding our hands in bad times and grief. To understand for me, that standing in balance, in silence, in mauna, is not the death and the end…no it is the real life 🙂 is a long way of experience.
Thank YOU APPAJI, for holding my hand, for hearing and charing my grief, for touching my heart.
Sri Guru Datta love ~ love ~ love

    Jaya Guru Datta,
mein Herr und mein Gott nimm alles von mir
    was mich hindert zu Dir
mein Herr und mein Gott gib alles mir
    was mich führet zu Dir
mein Herr und mein Gott nimm mich mir
und gib mich ganz zu eigen Dir.
    Sri Guru Datta

Todays mms made me think of the prayer to Brother Klaus (Switzerland)

    Jaya Guru Datta
Wherever we are Sri Swamiji is there with us. He shares our happiness and sorrows. He tells us that happiness and grief are only the two sides of the same life like the ups and downs of the waves in the ocean. He comes to us and consoles us in our grief. He shows us the eternal bliss.
Thank you for this wonderful MMS. 🙂
    Sri Guru Datta

Jaya Guru Datta! O Benevolent Sathgurudeva! This little heart is too small to hold all the love You have for each one of us. This is such a touching message! It reminds me of the little story – a conversation between man and God. The man looks back at his life, points to the two sets of footprints in good times and thanks God for walking with him. He then points to single set of footprints during the difficult times in his life and asks God why He abandoned him during tough times. God replies, “My child, I was walking with you during happy times, but I carried you in my arms during the difficult times” Such is the love of our Sathgurudeva! Our loved ones promise to be there for us always, but how can that guarantee hold up in the ups and downs of life? How can that guarantee hold up up when we don’t know how long each one of us will live in the first place? Directive #5 of The Twelve Directives by Sri Swamiji says “Realize that God alone is your true friend”. Sathgurudeva alone is our true friend. It’s His guarantees alone that are real.

Jaya Guru Datta, Swamiji! What I love so much about you is that no matter what is in my heart, I can tell you. No matter how I sad I am, no matter how depressed, how angry, how fearful. how despairing, you are there, listening to me…lifting me up…encouraging me not to give up, not to let go…who else would do that without complaint, in total love and care….only you….Sri Guru Datta!

Jgd.The Monday in the Month of Karthika, which is pious brings this meaningful MMS.The Grief of children or devotee is shares by the Mother or God.While we think or try to go away from the grief or ill luck of our berthen, God invites it.When the Gods of the Universe are looking away,LOrd SHIVA took the Poision from the churning Milk ocean and Drank it to save the universe.Victory, sucess, or a good tiding is claimed by many,Victory has many Husbands, the defeat or loss is experienced by the Holder only. That is why we pray to God in distress and Pat our back when it is sucess.

    • dr.satyanarayana&dr.uma devi,S.G.S.Hospital,Mysore. on December 3, 2012 at 2:00 am

Jgd.Victory has many Husbands, where as Defeat has none.Because Man has no knowledge about the Pleasure when sharing the grief of others. That is when Man becomes God in the eyes of a grieved.

    • Glory of Rama on December 3, 2012 at 2:22 am

Man is always in pursuit of happiness. That being the case, is it not against his nature to seek grief deliberately and wish to experience it? When we remember God in our time of grief, we receive solace and hence it is believed that God shares our grief. But is not God beyond grief and worldly happiness? He is ever in a state of divine bliss, totally untouched by our mundane miseries. In happiness man rarely remembers God. Other humans when they see a chance for happiness will begin to mill around like flies on a piece of jaggery. Jaya Guru Datta

JGD. Through good, bad or indifferent situations, may we be calm and always focus on Sadguru, the distributor of inner happiness.

God is the only true friend for everyone because He is only interested in helping all creatures in universe and is devoid of any incentive. All of us have selfishness exhibiting at various circumstances of life. So probably we don’t have patience to listen to any one or help when someone is in need because of non-productivity out of it at worldly level. So probably with this underscore thought many of us don’t share others grief. But still all of us have a wonderful trustworthy friend God, who takes this form too to help us out. Excellent message to be understood and implemented as God is only source of protection in everyone’s life. May lord bless us all to follow the principles He had set for us and experience His love and care for all of us.

Jgd.The Happiness in sharing the difficulties of others, brings immense happiness. This is more so when the Pain of a sufferer is removed. That is probably one reason why Doctors are treated as God.They not only give a sympathetic ear to the out pouring, also Heal. The same is also true when a Bottle of Blood is givn to the needy and a life is saved. The expression of gratitude from the patient and his near and dear is unforgottable,Pranamams to the GURU who imaprted the knowledge of Healing.Pranamams to GURU for utilizing our services.

Appaji’s today’s MMS has got a deep inner meaning. Here I remember Appaji’s words saying that when the God has given this human birth youhave tofacethis janma ( Both Good and Bad) which is already written by Him. Therefore nobody can escape from this concept. Even in ThertayugaLord Sri Rama has suffered for 14years and in Dwapara yuga Lord Krishna has fought for Dharma. Hence Appaji’s is asking we as human being in this kaiyuga, how can we escape from this karma which God has given. At the same time if we follow our Appaji’s words and teachings through the spiritual path, definitively we get a remedy. But we have to accept the fact and ready to face the good and bad periods in our life. That is why Appaji says when an accident take place instead of a danger to your life, it may lead to some damage to your body which can be rectified by treatment. Similarly during our good periods it will boost up also by the blessing of our Sadgurudeva which we should not forget. But Appaji says in this kaiyuga , it is very difficult to make understand people since everybody is interested in material benefit only. Therefore we have to control our mind through the teachings of our Appaji and face any situation asper our karma. The photography and the music are very apt to this MSG also. JGD.
