Jaya Guru Datta! What a wonderful message! Gods, pleased with the purity of Mother Anasuya gifted themselves to the divine couple. Amazing. Mother Anasuya’s greatness is described very well in Datta Darsanam. The Mother is indeed a selfless and pure soul who was completely devoted to her husband and always strove for universal welfare. Such a soul has the venerated and exalted position of being the Mother of Lord Dattatreya. The story of Jayalakshmi Mata is very similar. Salutations to the divine mothers for giving us Datta Sadguru.
