Great souls realize that Bholenath (Shiva) is not miles away in Pasupathinath.. They realize He is deep inside their hearts.. feel His infinite energy within themselves. In that empowerment, they achieve seemingly impossible tasks. How easy is it to perform at the Royal Albert Hall, or perform Agni Puja? They don’t need walking sticks. They are the forest. They don’t need torch lights. They are light.
MMS 69 said “Pray as if everything depends on God. Work as if everything depends on you” When you do that, God works from within you. You feel yourself an instrument in His hands.. as you go accomplishing your toughest tasks. When baby knows mummy is around, she plays to her full potential.. no fear.
Dear Gurudeva, With you being our backbone, we need no walking sticks. With every passing moment we’ll tirelessly work out building muscle to serve your cause. Jai ho, mere Bholenath! Pranams to you for ‘Har pal being ham sabka saath’. Jaya Guru Datta, Your Puttuji.

It is good to know that not everybody is a great soul. I work as therapeut and there are a lot of people, which have not the discipline for succeed. Then it is better they look for a good help. But more and more it would be fine, that they can hndle it with theire own discipline. The same is by me: I am very strong with me, but I know also, where I need some help. Swamiji is guiding me to people which can help me in several situations. But at the end I must look myself for the realisation of my things in my life. It need not only discipline, but also courage.

Dear Appaji, JGD, thanks so much for this wonderful inspirational MMS! if we see what our beloved appaji has done and achieved in all these years and decades, its such amazing, miracles have happen!! And He is a great ideal and example for us to follow, to inspire us to believe in our nine right and fire, which is also the omnipresent Sathguru..the one Light, the One Love. If we believe more and more in the own inner divinity, which every Mahatman has showed and explain to us, fulfillment comes nearer and clearer. Thanks dear Appaji for this powerful divine MMS! JGD

Jai Guru Datta Appaji – We are all truly blessed to follow a SadhGuru, who leads by example in showing us that when we surrender ourselves to the Lord and perform our duties to the best of our abilities, whatever we need to fulfill our duties will be automagically be provided to us by HIS sheer will.

Lord Rama and Lakshmana did not request their Royal Servants to accompany them to the Forests to build their hermitages. In fact, they refused when many Ayodhyavasis wanted to accompany them into the forests They relied on their own abilities to perform their duties.
Similarly Lord Hanuman jumped to Lanka by Himself and successfully accomplished the task of finding Sita Devi – thanks to his steadfast Faith and Devotion to Lord Rama!

It is our complete faith and surrender that makes us TRUE instruments of the Lord! Sincerely praying to our Gurudeva to bestow such Faith and Surrendering Attitude upon all of us.
    Sri Guru Datta!

My Datta Sadguru, Sri Swamiji is showing us since He was a child how to accomplish everything through penance and prayer. These internal tools prepare the seeming external for fulfillment of our sadhana. He is that inner strength. There is nothing external to seek. Jayaho Bolenatha.

Jaya Guru Dutta! I read Chaitanya’s note on his experience with Sri Swamiji and was awed to read how Sri Swamiji said He was a Bonsai tree. Sri Swamiji made Self a Bonsai – so small that we human beings can see His Holiness. When Sri Swamiji can reach out at us and help us rid of our karmas, His Holiness does not need any instruments. Sri Swamiji’s relationship is heart to heart and does not depend on anything external at all! Sri Guru Dutta! Sreevidya

  2. Body is God given instrument which is capable of operating any kind of instrument – micro to macro – and capable of doing many things even in the absence of instruments. His Holiness, 70+ years young, is showing us how to implant saplings in agricultural field, depending on his own strength.

JGD Appaji. Vibrant and energetic bhajan. MMS is powerful too. So many examples come to my mind as I read this MMS. All learned men and scholars have accomplished their dreams/tasks with the strength that they had deep within. What stood common is iron determination, fearlessness, faith, zero ego and willingness to learn. What I realize is that all these are possible only if we are victorious over our inner enemies. In this process, we make place for Sadguru to reside within us. But natural that all tasks are accomplished. Please be our guiding light always, Appaji. JGD SGD.

    Jai Guru Datta,
This sentence I really love. It makes so clear that our beloved Sadguru wants us to grow into our own power, become masters of our own lives, where we create out of ourselves, become really responsible and indipendent and thus free. I feel that the more I go into this direction, the more I become aware of my own possibilities, strength and qualities, the more I can be of help to others and the more I can accept my own limitations and ask for help. Thus it makes me actually more social and aware of the necessity to interact. And what´s more – I find that what I see to appear outside of me in the form of Sri Swamiji lives inside of me and constitutes my real strength. That is a mystery to me and I beg Sri Swamiji to reveal this mystery to us. Sri Guru Datta.

  3. JGD. Seeing Appaji planting rice paddies and trimming Bonsai trees reminds me of an episode in His autobiography where He single handedly planted all the young coconut trees in Mysore Ashram. These tree still serve the needs of the Ashrama after decades. Jaya Ho Jaya Ho Sadguru Natha.

What a wonderful MMS, Appaji has given today with a great inner value in it.(Great souls realize that Siva is not far away in  pasupathynathHe is deep inside their heart). Here Appaji we see You as Lord Siva Himself and we realize You that You are in our heart. Here I remember Appaji’s words saying that if you want to be in His heart, we have to obey, and follow His teachings strictly. For example Appaji always says that when ever we come to ashram during function we should not ask for an interview. At the same time involve in pooja or homawhat ever may be and get the prasadam. That is the actual blessing for us. He further ask when you are already in my heart there is no need for a separate interview. If it is a serious problem you have to wait and see Meafter the function. Similarly He also says that we should always give way to the new comers since you are already in my heart. Appaji we always remember these valuable points and follow you since you are our back bone for our spiritual growth. The photography and the Bhajan are very apt for the MSG.   JGD.

Great souls succeed by their own strength – 24/09/12

Great souls like saints succeed in their work because of their strong determination and strength for a noble cause. The song “Jayaho Jayaho Bholenath….” a wonderful composition by Sri Swamiji offering prayers to Lord Shiva for His blessings. Thank You Puttuji for sharing Sri Swamiji’s message.

Great souls succeed by their own strength ~ 24 Sept 2012

The above quotes reminds me of a Chinese proverb which says “Great souls have wills; feeble ones have only wishes”. Great souls get the strength to do anything, from their will power. It is their total involvement and undeterred faith in their abilities that gives them the strength to do anything. In day to day life we depend on so many things or people around us to do things. But a great soul does not depend on anything or anybody but Himself. The best example for this, is the day to day activity of our Beloved Gurudeva. From morning to night we see Pujya Gurudeva untiringly doing so many things. Morning poojas, meeting devotees, recording sessions, healing sessions etc etc, are the daily activities of pujya Gurudeva. But where does HE get the strength to do all this everyday. The Chinese proverb I mentioned above is the answer to this. Pujya Gurudeva, by way of doing all these activities relentlessly, is setting an example to us that we too can do all this if we only have the will and dedication. Our unconditional love and faith on Pujya Gurudeva is our strength to achieve anything. We will not have do depend on anybody.

I beg Pujya Gurudeva to guide us in realizing our inner strength and accomplish tasks independently. Being in Sadguru seva is itself a strength for us. Let us pray that Pujya Gurudeva gives us the opportunities to serve HIM in HIS mission, always. Sri Sadgurubhyo Namaha! Jaya Guru Datta!

    JGD Appaji
Todays MMS reminds me of the chapter in Life History wherein Appaji alone plants all the coconut saplings in the ashram overnight…
Faith can move mountains… when we know Appaji is with us, we will automatically give 100% in doing any work..and derive immense happiness in just doing the work, no matter what the result is. Work becomes worship..a seva rather than labour.

  4. Jaya Guru Datta, Our Sadgurudev is not satisfied that He is himself a Siddha. He wants all of us to be Siddhas and not depend on external help to accomplish any task. That is possible only with our disciplined efforts, single-pointed mind and Sadgurus blessings. Blessings are always there, but we fail to perceive them due to the clouded mind.
This call is similar to Arise, Awake and Accomplish!!

Some come to this world as Ordinary Souls, Semi Ordinary Souls and Some come as Great Souls in this world as per their previous karmas. Such ordinary souls and Semi Ordinary Souls will be made as Great Souls under the guidance of Sadguru. And such Great Souls will become Sachchidanada an eternal state if they had the blessings of Sadguru Guidance. Dear Sri Swamiji we have come as ordinary souls and as we live with human body and whatever is happening around us and how we take them in spirits is all only by your guidance. All ways wants to be in your mediation to cross over this life ocean of Samsara. Om Namo Hanumate Namaha Jaya Guru Datta

Sri Swamiji has a mission. He is surrounded by a big group of devotees who help him day and night. But without any problem he could simply do it all alone. The possibility to do seva is a very precious gift from Appaji. But he could easily do everything himself.

    Jaya Guru Datta

Great MMS video and very useful boost of energy. When doing service for Sri Swamiji, i never feel tired nor i feel lazy, just always recharged. But if i try to do the similar work, after doing work for sometime i feel tired. When we do selfless service as if everything depends on god, it is very true that our gurudeva works from within us and we never feel tired. Thank you puttuji for this booster video… we will follow this advice and implement in all the works we do.

Das erleben wir sehr direkt mit DIR, liebster APPAJI. Dies bedeutet für mich, dass ich mich „einfach“ an DICH wenden und alle andern Instrumente ausser Acht lassen kann.
