Again it seems, that Swamiji is sending me a message, a message für me allone. I stay before new ideas about my future. One part in me has the feeling, that it can’t be true, what I feel. An other part says: all is true, you have to do this in the next time. Even if I think, that it’s too much for me, that it can’t be my way: when Swamiji is showing me, that this is my way, I will go it, I will trust in Swamiji!
Throughout life, we encounter so few people who truly have our best interests at heart. Just recently in an MMS Sri Swamiji addressed this as He talked about how our real well wishers are our only friends. Today, He reminds us that He is our true friend and that He always has our best interests at heart, even when we’ve failed in some way or want to have our own way. We are very lucky. That doesn’t mean that we don’t have to take responsibility for our actions, or strive to make things right when we have done something wrong, In fact, perhaps we have a greater duty to follow His directives because we know they are for our own good. But He will guide us to find the right path again and to heal if we do make wrong choices. It means that He will shine a light in the proper direction either directly or through those around us. We are truly loved and truly blessed…

Jaya Guru Datta. This is so very true and is being experienced by all the devotees all the time. Blessed we are all – to have such a great care from our Lord. By this Appaji is also telling us that we are not to be concerned by the sensory or worldly pleasures/accomplishments. Our Sadguru is guiding us towards the ultimate goal, to achieve which – whatever is needed will be provided by our Master Protector. It broke my heart at the time when relationships severed because Guru told me to remain firm in my stand. He gave me the advice and the strength because I asked. He did not impose it on me at any time. The situation kept me in pain for a long time and the bitter taste lingers in the mouth still. It is because of my ignorance, my attachment and my foolish yearnings. Guru knows best. He can see into the future. He knows exactly how each one’s past determines their present and their future. He knows that each of us is on a separate journey, no matter how strong our family bonds may be and our wish to travel together in a group. All things, places, and people step in and out of our lives. Guru alone remains. The mind that is weak and wavering is my greatest enemy. Physical distance from loved ones, situations, and places is achieved easier than the permanent mental cut off from those. That is where my struggle continues. I was witness to a person touching Appaji’s feet and pathetically pleading for guidance to deal with the various challenges that he faced in life. With a compassionate look Appaji said, “Yes. I will help you. Help may come either directly or indirectly.” Since then, that person chose a different path away from Appaji’s teachings. He continues to face life’s challenges as anyone else but without a direct contact with a living Guru. Having heard Appaji’s words of assurance given to him, I have the conviction that Guru’s grace and guidance are always with this person regardless of his treading a path of adharma. King Dhamakeerti’s story from Sri Datta Darshanam gives me great hope. Intense Karma and its consequences are unavoidable and Guru perhaps allows those to be exhausted before he draws the person back to his feet, saving his life, health, and situations as needed, in the meantime. Yes, complete trust in Guru leads us on the path of dharma and makes us build virtues which we may have never even dreamt of having in our lives. Swamiji, those moments when I followed your footsteps physically keep coming back to my mind when I realize that the virtues you inculcated in me are the pillars of well-being in my life. For following those footsteps meant surrendering fully or unveiling the falseness in this world which was put upon my eyes by the vices. Now the world is beautiful, for it has your smile everywhere which showers your grace.

Just loved this MMS….. If parents can take care and protect a baby from it’s birth to reform him to an efficient person in the society, surely God works much better than parents as He knows everything. Mother says no to her child which is not good for the child out of love, affection and care. Similarly if God wants to guide us in a righteous way towards Him, surely they wil be implemented. It’s our perception of good and bad because of incomplete knowledge. God takes a form and guides us, then surely only rule to be practised by us should be to follow Him, let His decision gives pleasure or pain to us no matter, still it is the best and safe one for us. So one should simply follow when a person can meet such a Guru, then just trust His judgment. May lord bless us all to have such a wonderful guiding principle in everyone’s life to help us in every step of our life.

to be quite frank and honest: I did have heard that before and I positively could find evidence for that saying by my own experience. But I´m still deluded by my own sense of self and by the fascination of free will. There definetly is the wish to follow and obey completely, and being so far away physically and sometimes mentally I often find myself “trying to know it better”, only to see that I fail. But this is the way of the human, isn´t it? Swamiji knows perfectly well, that I will arrive at the conclusion He gave me way before I arrived there and so He let´s me, because He He is compassionate and knows that true devotion comes from experience and from a free decision. Oh, Datta, your love is infinite, and so is your cmpassion. My erring is infinite, but so is my wish to become clear. I am in your hands and I better realize this and I better give up fighting. You are all there is and your wish makes the universe turn.

I believe that Swamiji is leading me my whole life. Not only since I met him physically – he was there before. I experienced things in my youth that were preparing me for later, also when I finally became a devotee. Like pieces of a puzzle – it became a picture. I trust him completely. He is all knowing and all understanding. His overview, timing and skills in every field is incomparable (it is also not human like).I have to live my life and take decisions on my own. I is not possible to ask him for every step. But he is always guiding – silently. During prayers I do get help and answers. It is like he is opening doors or lifting a curtain. What I see is HIS DEVINE PRESENTS.

I never had the feeling that there was someone or something I could trust at 100% in all questions of life. What a great gift! And He even is a silent teacher. Appaji has pulled me out of relationships, thrust me into relationships and pulled me out yet again. Probably a lot of it is my ego but i know also that Guru has complete control. He moves us from point A to point B so as to learn something… then brings us back to point A again. It is a blessing that He moves us around and about so much… even if it makes us feel topsy-turvy. Topsy-turvy feeling is good. It batters the ego and keeps us humble. Things may seem senseless only because we understand nothing and are blind. If we trust that Guru is in the driver’s seat and we pray that Guru takes the wheel then everything will be ok. SGD

Very true…. Guru knows all. Pujya Sri Swamiji knows past, present and future. Many times we get upset if anything goes wrong with us, even after putting 100% effort in it. We forget that our Guru wants something better for us.
Having faith in Guru and trusting His judgement will remove attachment from the end result. This is what Bhagwad Gita teaches.

What a beautiful MMS, Appaji has given today and according to me we have to take this MSG in the right spirit. In a court of law The Chief Justice’s judgement is final which is internationally accepted concept. Similarly in the spiritual path our Sadgurudev’s Judjement is final when we follow Him and follow His words and teachings. Here I remember the sloka 93 in Guru Geeta where in it clearly says Guru is only suprem in this world and there is nothing important more than that and that to it is Lord Siva’s command. Now here when we follow our Appaji, He knows what is to be given and not tobe given to us in our life and His judgement is final which we have to accept. In this connection i had my own experience in 1985 where in Appaji has saved us from a very dangerous situation and at that time I and my family accepted His Judjement as final and He protected us. Here again I. Remember the sloka 60 in Guru Geeta . The photography is very apt to the MSG wherein Guru Paduka is shown and the importance of the same can be realized if you refer to sloka 99 in Gurugeeta. Now from this MMS , we can come to an conclusion that how much importance and value is there for Guru Geeta. Finally, Appaji we got your concept and follow your teachings and do our best for the development of your mission. JGD.
